First Guilin-Liping air route opened
The first air route connecting Guilin and Liping in southwest Guizhou opened on 17th, April. The opening of this air route will boost chances and convenience for those who want to explore the primitive Southwest Guizhou.
The air route will be commenced by the Huaxia Airlines. There are currently three flights per week on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Travel from Guilin to Liping takes around 30 minutes and the cost on air fare is around 370 yuan.
Southwest Guizhou is the largest ethnic community in China. There are about 33 minority groups inhabiting in this land mainly Miao and Dong. The diversity of the ethnic culture is well preserved and presented in this region. Seekers of traditional China will find their requirements met there.
Over years, travelers have to take the rough, time-consuming highway from Guilin to the Southwest Guizhou, which prevent many lovers from experiencing the area The flight connection will end this situation.
