According to a relevant official of the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad (BOCOG), BOCOG will mainly be responsible for the reception of athletes, officials, registered media and sponsors, approximately 50,200. At present, BOCOG's 112 contracted star hotels have all fulfilled their commitment and most of them have given their quota during the event. It is learned that among contracted Olympic hotels, the average quota of five-star hotels is US$429. Standard rooms constitute 53% of all rooms available, and the average quota is US$353.
