The 16th Jilin International Rime Ice and Snow Festival to Open February 10, 2014

According to the latest information, the 16th Jilin International Rime Ice and Snow Festival will be open on January 4, 2011 in Jilin City, Jilin Province. The rime is a natural phenomena turning up in the bank of the Songhua River during severe winter, that, the willow branches and pine needles along the river are all hanging with pure white rimes in shapes of silk threads, chrysanthemums and corals. The wonder often appears in the early morning of the period from December to February in next year.

Cold Weather Remains February 10, 2014

During past three days, whole China has a drop on temperature  with most parts of Northeast China were hit by a heavy snow, and most parts of South China were controlled by rainy weather. As the cold front moving towards south continuingly, the temperature of most regions of China will reduce by 6° C (43° F) in follow three days, and even 10° C (50 ° F) in some areas.
