Luoyang Peony Fair to Kick Off on April 1st
The 25th Luoyang Peony Fair is scheduled to kick off next month in Luoyang, a city in Central China's Henan Province.
The grand peony fair will be held from Aril 1 to April 25. 44 varied celebrations and activities will be arranged during the 25-day event. These include Peony Stamp Issue Ceremony at 9:00a.m.on April 10, the 27th Presentation Ceremony for Best National Stamp & the 25th Luoyang Peony Fair Evening at 7:40p.m.on the same day and also some large-scale and wide-ranging fun activities including temple fair, garden fete and a outdoor bazaar .
Luoyang Peony Fair is an annual event and the city has held 24 peony fairs since 1983. Millions of travelers worldwide have enjoyed that grand occasion. The coming 25th peony fair will lure even more tourists to Luoyang. As the capital of several ancient Chinese dynasties with a history spanning nearly 5.000 years, Luoyang enjoys the reputation of "The City of Peony"
