More Flights to Tibet Available

Air companies in China have recently increased the number of flights to Lhasa, capital of China's Tibet Autonomous Region, to meet the huge travel demand in the coming peak season.

As the weather gets warmer, Tibet's golden tourism time is due and arrivals will rise dramatically in the next few months.

According to China Southern Airlines, they have had reopened flight routes from Guangzhou to Lhasa via Diqing. Two flights per week are operating on this route now. The number will be increased to three flights per week in May and daily service in July in order to meet the ever-growing passenger demand in this expanding marketplace.

Meanwhile, to provide more choices and convenience to passengers who travel to Lhasa via Chongqing, China Southern will operate the same flights on the Chongqing-Lhasa route as on the   Guangzhou-Chongqing route. Passengers departing from Guangzhou can check-in once at the airport. Besides, Hainan Airlines will also enhance flight frequencies from Hangzhou via Xian to Lhasa.
