Potala Palace's Snow City to be unveiled on May Day
The reconstruction of Tibet's Potala Palace Snow City is reportedly going on smoothly and will be formally opened to the public during the forthcoming May Day holiday, to become the hottest spot of Tibetan travel.
The Snow City is a component part of Lhasa's Potala Palace, one of the most famous cultural heritage sites in the world. It occupies an area of 50,000 square meters and is mainly composed of many old buildings such as offices of the former Tibetan local government, monks' dormitories, etc.
The renovation of the Potala Palace Snow City will be completed in the very near future.
