Alliance Unveils Top Chinese Tourism Cities
Aiming at Olympic business opportunities, ten domestic hot tour cities have founded a tourism cooperation alliance in order to launch more attractive itineraries around China on the basis of rich tourism resources.
The ten cities are Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing, Xian, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Kunming, Chengdu, Harbin, and Guilin. This alliance will integrate the advantages of tourism resources, location, and industry of the different cities to cooperate in tour products, itineraries and marketing promotion.
In addition, the 2008 Olympic Games will bring good business opportunities to major domestic tour cities. The tourism departments of Beijing and other cities will cooperate to attract more international tourists to visit more destinations around China.
The Shanghai Tourism Administration Commission has initiated a plan to launch tour itineraries with the themes of the 2008 Olympic Games and The World Expo. Cooperation among the alliance members will be helpful for their tour products promotion.
