A list of 40 beautiful places to visit in China was released by CNN Travel, and Yangshuo was selected on the list together with the Yellow Mountains (Huangshan) and Hongcun Ancient Village in Anhui, Mount Wuyi in Fujian, Huangguoshu Waterfall in Guizhou, Fenghuang and Zhangjiajie in Hunan, Yalong Bay in Hainan, and another 32 beautiful attractions in China.

About Yangshuo

Yangshuo, located 64 km south of Guilin, is a popular tourist destination with incredible karst scenery, including beautiful hills, rivers, and caves. It is famous for the world's most impressive karst landscape and traditional fishing-village lifestyle, attracting a great number of tourists to visit every year.

Getting There

Yangshuo is accessible by boat, by taxi, or by bus. Most travelers reach Yangshuo by bus. Buses depart from Guilin Bus Station to Yangshuo at 15 minute intervals. The whole journey takes around 90 minutes and the ticket price is 15 RMB. Or take a Li River cruise.
