Beijing

It will probably be very hot during the Olympics. Bring yourself some hot weather clothing, but remember you might spend a lot of time at indoors’ games. So take a sweatshirt or pullover to keep from the chilly air conditioning.

Shanghai

Shanghai summers tend to be hot and humid. Having an air-conditioner to beat back the humidity is a must. Umbrellas are in high use during the sunny days.

Tianjin

Tianjin's climate is characterized by hot, humid summers, due to the monsoon, and most of the precipitation takes place in July and August.

Qingdao

Summer is humid, hot and rainy in Qingdao. August is the hottest month, not hot really with its average temperature of around 25 degree centigrade. At the late of August and the sea water is mild at that time .It is the best period for seashore swimming. Tourist who like swimming are advised to take warm clothes which will be used at the beach at evenings when the weather become cool.

Hongkong

Hong Kong has a sub-tropical climate, being temperate for nearly half the year, with cool, dry winters and hot, humid summers. May to August are hot and humid with occasional showers and thunderstorms, and the highest temperatures often exceed 31°C. July to September are the months during which Hong Kong is most likely to be affected by tropical cyclones.
