Pudong is the third busiest international airport in China, and Hongqiao the fourth. How to get around in Shanghai

The Shanghai public transportation system is quite comprehensive and well-developed, including the Maglev train, public buses, the subway, ferries, and taxis.

  • Though many taxi drivers can speak a little English, it is generally difficult to communicate with taxi drivers.

Q: Are there flights from Shanghai to Ningbo?

There is no flight between Shanghai and Ningbo. You can take a train. There are many bullet trains from Shanghai to Ningbo every day. It's easy to buy the tickets. It takes about 3.5 hours and costs about US$19 per person.
