Rongbuk Monastery: With an altitude is 5,100 meters (16728 feet), the monastery is the highest on earth. From there you will get a great view of Mt Everest. The monastery is accessible today via vehicle by means of an undeveloped road. In front of the Monastery, there is a large, round, terraced chorten containing a reliquary.
