Dear Morgen,
It was such a wonderful trip. From the point of view of organization , its hard to see how it could have been any better!. We were smoothly shunted over vast distances, always finding a friendly face at the airport to greet us. The local guides ranged from the merely "very good" to excellent. When we ran into some minor problems or when we wanted to make some small changes to our programme, your response was exemplary. In fact we found the overall level of cooperation excellent. Barbara was very impressed with the interaction with Morgen, even before the trip began. In working out our itinerary , Morgen provided many helpful suggestions and advice. The result was an intinerary with no regrets. ( Except that China is so vast and diverse that this trip was necessarily restricted to the "highlights" . ) For us, the "semi-guided" option was just right. No trips in large buses with crowds of people. Usually there were only two of us in a van or car.

After returning from my trip to China I finally can take a little time to send my thanks to you and your staff for everything in ensuring a pleasant and entertaining tour. This is especially true of the short time frame in which you were able to organize everything.

I would also like to send a special thanks of appreciation for the extra care and personal attention that Meidan showed during my time with her in Beijing. I have booked tours in various European countries, Germany, Italy, France, Greece and Chez Republic, even one in Shanghai. Meidan is the best tour guide I have had the pleasure to meet. Our trip was wonderful and interesting. We enjoyed Tibet and never got the high altitude sickness. There were some who we met and they did have symptoms. The monasteries are gorgeous. Our tour guide was great in Tibet as well as the driver. The drive from Lhasa to Gyantse was breathtaking even though it was a long trip. Unfortunately there was no toilet suited for Western Tourist. I wish the tourist bureau will have a facility in between for tour to stop. Our schedule ,including our Flights, were all on time Beijing and Xian are also great places to visit. We enjoyed the Beijing Kaoya. It was delicious. All of our tour guide are good and that include the drivers.

Dear Tina:
Emma and I are now back home after a wonderful trip to China and Tibet. All of your guides were like family. Could you please tell Joy in Lhasa that the name of the flowers we saw all over the place that I could not remember the name of is "COSMOS". She is going back home to China from Lhasa soon so I would appreciate it if you would tell her. We have just received our photos back from development and we promised Yang Ling (Linda) that we would e-mail her copies of the pictures she is in as soon as we get them. We also have some pictures with Joy in them and will send them to her also. Emma has the email addresses and will send them soon.. We will miss our guides but will always remember their friendship, their excellent English, their kindness and their knowledge of the places we visited..
