Day 2

Today's Activities: Great Wall at Mutianyu, Mutianyu Cable Car(round trip), Beijing Olympic Green
Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch, Chinese Dinner at Roasted Duck at Hepingmen
- Great Wall at Mutianyu: This less-crowded section of the Great Wall is a pleasant drive 90km NE of Beijing. A cable car takes you to a good section (avoiding a very steep climb), where you can walk along the wall, through the watch towers and enjoy superb views as it snakes across the hills and mountains. You can return by cable car, walk down or walk along the wall for about an hour to descend by chairlift. Wear good walking shoes and protection from the weather.
- Mutianyu Cable Car(round trip): It is a challenging climb up to the Mutianyu Great Wall for it is much steeper than Badaling section. Here you have the option of taking the Cable car to the highest point or down to the foot in a few minutes instead of climbing more than 1,400 steps, while you can also have a bird view of the wall.
- Beijing Olympic Green: Located at the north end of the central axis of Beijing City,Olympic Green hosts 50% of the competitions in the Olympic Games. With a large area of 1215 hectares, it contains a 760 hectares green forest, National museum, exhibition area, Olympic Village and Olympic competition avenues. Approximately 31 venues are used in Beijing Olympics, including National Stadium, the Bird's Nest and National Aquatics Center, 'H2O3'.
- Roasted Duck at Hepingmen: In the evening enjoy the Peking Roasted Duck which is renowned as the most delicious food of Beijing
Day 3

Today's Activities: The Tian'anmen Square, The Forbidden City, Treasure Houses, Hall of Clocks and Watches
Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch
- The Tian'anmen Square: The world's largest city square and enduring symbol of China's national pride, surrounded by many imposing buildings including the Heavenly Gate (entry to the Forbidden City), Museums, government buildings and Chairman Mao's Mausoleum.
- The Forbidden City: The Imperial Palace, home to 24 Emperors between 1420 and 1911. Great squares, halls and gates contrast with the intricate networks of side halls, gardens, courtyards and quarters for those who lived in this 'city within a city'. The exhibitions, both permanent and temporary, are also absolutely fascinating. Expect to spend at least 2-3 hours, wear good walking shoes and protection from the weather.
- Treasure Houses: Treasure Houses show us all kinds of treasure which owned by Qing dynasty royalty. It's worthy of visiting.
- Hall of Clocks and Watches: Hall of Clocks and Watches set in the Forbidden City,2208 square meters,show us the clock history of the past 200 years.
Day 4

Today's Activities: Temple of Heaven, Hutong Tours in Rickshaw, Lama Temple(Yonghe gong)

- Temple of Heaven: Situated in the southern part of the city, the temple of heaven covers the total area of 2,700,000 square meters. The temple was built in 1420A.D.it is the place where emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties would offer sacrifice to heaven and pray for good harvests. The main buildings of the temple including the Circular Mound Altar, Imperial Vault of Heaven and Hall of Prayer for Good Harvest.The surrounding gardens are full of interesting activity, particularly weekend mornings.
- Hutong Tours in Rickshaw: A maze of historic alleyways and old single storey traditional courtyard houses, now fast disappearing. Dotted around the hutong are the Drum and Bell Towers, Tea House, and local people's houses. Your tour includes a visit with a local family.
- Lama Temple(Yonghe gong): The colourful Yonghe Lamasery is the largest and most famous Tibetan Buddhist temple outside Tibet. It's still very active, and the beautiful halls and courtyards are thronged with devotees come to worship or seek good luck.You can see the world's largest wooden statue (the Matreiya Buddha)and Tibetan exhibitions.
Day 5

Today's Activities: Hotel to airport Transfer (Beijing), Airport to Hotel Transfer (Shanghai), Summer Palace with boat Cruise & The Garden of Virtue and Harmony
Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch
- Summer Palace with boat Cruise & The Garden of Virtue and Harmony: The palace is positioned in the west suburb of Beijing, about 12 kilometers northwest of the city center. Equally famous as the Forbidden City, the Summer Palace is called 'Yiheyuan'(Garden of Nurtured Harmony) in Chinese. It is up to now the best preserved and the largest imperial gardens in China. You may regret it if you come to Beijing without visiting this grand imperial garden. In the palace, you can also cruise on the lake. It will take 10 minutes by the ferry boat. Besides this, you can also visit The Garden of Virtue and Harmony; it was built as a theater for the Empress Dowager. Its construction began in the 17th year of Emperor Guangxu's reign (1891) and lasted for five years.
Day 6

Today's Activities: Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Qibao Ancient Town

- Oriental Pearl TV Tower: Standing by the Huangpu River with 468 meters high, Oriental Pearl TV Tower is the highest TV Tower in Asia .It is a new landmark of Shanghai in 21st century. The Shanghai History Museum is Located now just below the Oriental TV Tower at Pudong New Area. It was formally opened to the public on July 1, 2000. There you can see the three major exhibition units reflecting Shanghai's history, modern and recent revolutionary history respectively.
- Qibao Ancient Town : The Seven Treasures Town is famous for its old streets, which were once named as the Ding's Farmstead in the ancient Chinese Dynasty of Han. In the early days of the Song Dynasty, the Seven Treasures Temple was moved to the place and the town was renamed as Seven Treasures Town just same as the temple. Moreover, a legend said that the place was so named because it possessed the following seven treasures – the Gold Lotus Scripture, the Magic Tree, the Big Bell Floated from Afar, the Buddha Flown over from Afar, the Gold Cock, the Jade Chopsticks and the Jade Axe. The town was reconstructed with huge amount of money in 2000 and was transformed into a great tourist resort once again.
Day 7

Today's Activities: Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall, Yuyuan Garden, Xintiandi, French concession region, The Bund

- Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall: A short walk across Renmin Square from the Shanghai Museum, this is a fascinating insight into Shanghai’s future. The 2nd floor has a giant walkaround model of the city, and other floors have great displays, interactive exhibitions and walkthroughs of aspects such as the ports, greening, leisure etc.
- Yuyuan Garden: In the centre of Shanghai next to the Yuyuan Bazaar, this exquisite old 5-acre garden is famous for its design. The paths wander across bridges, past rockeries and miniature lakes, and through pretty halls and pavilions. The trees and shrubs are planted with an eye to providing charming views, and a sense of peace and harmony.
- Xintiandi: Rejuvenated old quarter, with lots of cafes, quirky and upmarket shops, western food and close to the major hotels
- French concession region: A great area to explore, from the old European buildings in shady avenues to the cafes and restaurants and upmarket shopping area of Huaihu Lu.
- The Bund: Once the home of the foreign traders and major banks, the embankment has taken on a new vitality; lovely old European-style buildings mix with futuristic developments, chic restaurants, top end shops and bars offer plenty to see and do – and by night it's magic!
