Day 4

Today's Activities: Reed Flute Cave, Piled Silk Hill (Folded Brocade Hill), Elephant Trunk Hill, Zhengyang Pedestrian Street

- Reed Flute Cave: Known as 'the Palace of Natural Arts' this large and well-presented cave system has some remarkable formations. Make sure you have some small change for the children who sell flutes for as little as one yuan if you've got nothing less than a dollar you'll end up with their whole stock.
- Piled Silk Hill (Folded Brocade Hill): It is in the city centre. It's national 4A scenic spot. The traversed stone blocks piled one after another just like the colorful folded silk, that's how the name of the hill came into being.
- Elephant Trunk Hill: At the confluence of Li River and Peach Blossom River in the southwest of Guilin city
It is a national 4A scenery spot. The Water Moon Cave is close to the river. The water flows through it and the cave looks like a moon floating in the water. The stone drooped into the water like an elephant drinking the water of the Li River.
- Zhengyang Pedestrian Street : It is 666 meters long, located in the downtown of Guilin city. It is surrounded by restaurants, hotels, theatres, stadiums, commercial facilities and scenic spots. Zhengyang Pedestrian Street has all of the conveniences that are required for good shopping in a very pleasant environment. In many ways Zhengyang Pedestrian Street is the hub of the city. Its shops and restaurants bring thousands of people daily to the area and at night it pulsates with life as people use the many venues that offer great night life.

Day 5

Place & Transport: Guilin to Yangshuo
Today's Activities: Li River Cruise(western lunch included)

- Li River Cruise(western lunch included): A cruise along the Li River between Guilin and Yangshuo is an unforgettable experience. As you take in the stunning scenery there's something interesting to see at almost every bend in the river. Between spectacular limestone peaks you'll see graceful bamboo groves, farmers tending rice paddies, and lumbering water buffaloes pulling carts or cooling off in the river. You may see fishermen gliding along on their narrow bamboo rafts, and if you're very lucky you might see one of the famous fishing cormorants. Boats depart from various wharves, according to the height of the river at different times of the year. What makes our service special is the private lunch on board. We invite chefs from the Left Bank Café, which enjoys a reputation for serving western food, to prepare lunch only for our guests on board. What's more, the chefs once were chosen to cook for President Bill Clinton and the Imperial Thai Princess so we believe that the food will be as good as the view.

- Biking in Beautiful Yangshuo: Experience the hustle & bustle of the Yangshou traffic for 5 minutes before you escape onto the country roads, lanes and tracks of the distinctive and beautiful Yangshou countryside. Biking through the paddy field and orchards that surround the famous mountains will give a fascinating insight into life in rural China. Centuries old farming methods sit side by side with mobile phones and satellite dishes.

Day 7

Day 8

Place & Transport: Xiamen
Today's Activities: Hulishan Fortress, South Putuo temple, Jimei School village(plus Kah-kee Park)
Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch

- Hulishan Fortress: It was built in 1891, the architecture mainly integrated the style in Ming and Qing Dynasty and the style from Europe. Huli Mountain Fortress is famous for having both the biggest and smallest cannons in the world. And there are many ancient military facilities and weapon, such as the emplacement, the barracks, the castle, the trench, double-edged swords and firelocks.
- South Putuo temple: Located at the foot of Wulao Peak in the south of Xiamen, it was built during the Tang Dynasty and rebuilt in Qing Dynasty, which is very famous for its collection of Buddhist cultural relics, such as a Burmese jade carving of the Buddha, some important Buddhist texts. Climbing up to the Wulao Peak, you can enjoy the bird’s eye-view of Xiamen University and Xiamen Port.
- Jimei School village(plus Kah-kee Park): 17kms away from Xiamen proper city, there is a place called Jimei meaning a place that collects all the beauties under heaven. At Jimei, the gentler ethos is bathed in the fresh sea-breeze as it has a modern educational system with a total of 12 schools covering from preschool to higher education. With a history of nearly 100 years, it was founded by Mr. Tan Kah Kee , a well-known leader of overseas Chinese.
Located at the north side of Turtle Garden, Kah-kee Park is an integral part of the architectural style of Tan Kah-kee. It blends amusement, commemoration and culture together according to the form of free layout of traditional gardens and brings out the best in each other in a coordinated and unified way.

Day 9

Place & Transport: Xiamen
Today's Activities: Ferry Fee for Gulang Island, GulangYu Island, Crag of Sunlight, Suzhuang garden

- Ferry Fee for Gulang Island: It is a world of sea breezes, sunshine and exotic architecture with Mediterranean flavor.
- GulangYu Island : GulangYu Island is in the southwestern of Xiamen city, it takes just 10 minutes by local ferry boat. There are many famous pianists in China from this island, and the piano ownership rate is the highest in China. There are many colonial buildings built after the Opium War, including the Britain, the America, France, German, Spain, etc.
- Crag of Sunlight: Sunlit Rock is the summit of GulangYu Island. Along the way to the top of the mountain, there are many huge and fantastic rocks, Pavilions, and green trees. Climbing up to the top of the mountain, you will enjoy the bird’s eye-view of the whole Island and part of Xiamen city.
- Suzhuang garden: Located at the southern shore of Gulangyu Island, it was built around 1900 as a private villa.Like other gardens, it is a traditional Chinese garden consisted of pavilions, bridges, lakes, towers and hills. Specially, Shuzhuang Garden is connect with the sea, you can enjoy the sea-view along the corridor above the sea.

Day 10

Place & Transport: Xiamen to Wuyishan/ Mt. Wuyi, Flight No. TBA

- Wuyi Mountain: Located in the northeast of Fujian, Wuyi Mountain is just at the junction of Fujian Province and Jiangxi Province. The scenery in Wuyi Mountain is surprisingly amazing and spectacular, especially the Jiuqu River and the Thirty Six Peaks. Many ancient painters and poets visited here just for search of inspiration.

Day 11

Detailed Itinerary: Today's highlights is taking raft cruise to the Jiuqu River which owns the most spectecular scenery of Wuyi Mountain.

Day 12

Today's Activities: Shanghai Museum, Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall

- Shanghai Museum: The biggest museum in China, with a collection of over 120,000 pieces of Chinese art & cultural relics. The museum is especially famous for its treasures of bronzes, ceramics, paintings, and calligraphy.
- Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall: Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center will raise the veil of the metropolis in the east and let you know her foundation, development and future in about 2-3hours. You will sign her magnanimity (involvement) with feeling, which makes you admire her character with not only tradition but also modern, maybe you are involved in them.

Day 13

Place & Transport: Shanghai
Today's Activities: Shanghai History Museum, French concession region, Xintiandi

- Shanghai History Museum: It is a window of Shanghai open to all the guests at home and abroad. By means of more than 1,300 pieces of cultural relics, literature and pictures, it presents a holistic picture of the long history of Shanghai from the remote antiquity to the liberation of the city in 1949.
- French concession region: This downtown area is banded by Ju Lu Lu in the north and Zhao Jia Bang Lu to the south and is well known for beautiful old homes and gardens. The area, which dates from the French Colonial period, is home to many of the city's best restaurants. Great area for a weekend stroll or to find a delicious food in the heart of downtown.
- Xintiandi: Located in the heart of the city, Xintiandi is a trendy cultural and entertainment center built with a combination of the Shikumen and the modern architecture. Xintiandi features a multitude of specialist F&B, retail, entertainment, cultural, recreational, commercial and residential facilities in restored 'Shikumen' houses.
