We will arrange tickets for you to go on a Beijing Tour, but the same sights can be explored with your own guide and driver, ask for a separate quote. We can customize any tour, even just one day to your needs.
The first stop is Tian'anmen Square. Then move on to the Forbidden City, the best preserved ancient imperial palace complex in the world. The vastness is breathtaking.
Continue to visit the Temple of Heaven, where the ancient Emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties prayed for peace and harvest. On the way to the Temple of Heaven, you will have a chance to see the Chinese traditional medicine culture.
After Chinese lunch in a local restaurant, enjoy a stroll around the Summer Palace: the largest and best preserved imperial garden in China. Formerly a summer retreat for emperors, it’s the perfect place to relax and escape the head of the city by the lake.
You will be picked up at your hotel, and then driven to Ming Tombs, where the first emperor in Beijing and his Empress were buried.
After lunch in a local restaurant, we go on to Badaling Great Wall, the most famous and best-preserved section. You can either hike up or take the cable car.
Head back to downtown Beijing and drive by the Olympic Green, having a view of both the National Stadium - the "Bird Nest" and National Aquatics Center - the Water Cube.
You will be picked up later and taken to the train station to board the overnight train to Xian.
After arriving to Xi’an in the morning, you will be taken to your hotel for breakfast and to freshen up.
The main attraction of the day is Shaanxi Historical Museum, where impressive collection of artifacts from the Silk Road as well as other relics from ancient dynasties are displayed. Visit the Wild Goose Pagoda and an ancient Islamic mosque towards the end of the day, giving a glimpse into Xi’an’s Silk Road history.
You will see with your own eyes one of the wonders of the world: the Terracotta Warriors and Horses, a 2000 year-old army of life-sized warriors, each one unique.
After lunch in a local Chinese restaurant, visit a little know sight, Banpo, an ancient village with thousands of years of history.
In the late evening, you will be taken by our guide to the train station to board the overnight train to Chongqing.
Our guide and driver will meet you at the train station and take you to your hotel.
Ciqikou Old Town, an authentic community with old wooden houses and narrow streets, has many craft and charming souvenir shops, and lots of local food and snacks to try.
Panda Room in Chongqing Zoo is the highlight for many animal lovers. The zoo has other rare animals too, including Golden hair monkeys and South China Tigers.
Afterwards you will be taken to board the ship for Yangtze cruise (dinner is not included).
Glide along the river while the breathtaking views pass you by. A short excursion to the eerie Fengdu Ghost City, where according to Chinese legend, ‘where all evil goes’!
In the evening a banquet and dance welcomes you on board.
Another day of leisure, but you can choose to visit to the White Emperor City in the morning.
A shore excursion to the truly spectacular Lesser Three Gorges: Dragon Gate Gorge, Misty Gorge and Emerald Gorge are the highlight of the afternoon. These are the scenes familiar from the Chinese paintings: sheer rock faces reach out into the sky, like mountains floating in the mist.
The evening ends in the crew’s entertaining show.
