- Day 2 Arrive in Beijing
Be met at the arrival hall of the airport by our tour guide and transferred back to your hotel in a comfortable private vehicle.
- Day 3 Beijing
Attractions: Tiananmen Square, The Forbidden City, Treasure Houses, Hutong Tour
Walk slowly through the glorious, ancient imperial palace and enjoy the landscaped gardens, halls, pavilions and corridors in The Summer Palace, the playground for emperors.
- Day 4 Beijing
Attractions: Temple of Heaven, The Mutianyu Great Wall, Tai chi Experience at the Temple of Heaven
Start by joining the morning Tai chi exercise at the Temple of Heaven and walk along the less-crowded Mutianyu Great Wall.
- Day 5 Beijing, Fly to Xi'an
Attractions:Bird's Nest and Water Cube, Hutong Tour
Take a exterior visit of Beijing Olympic Stadiums. A leisure rickshaw is waiting for you to explore the zigzag lanes and make a Chinese Paper Cut with locals. Meet the guide in Xi’an and get to the hotel in a private vehicle.
- Day 6 Xi'an
Attractions: The Terracotta Warriors and Horses
Witness the Living miracle - the Terracotta Warriors. Marching soldiers and horses are coming for you!
- Day 7 Xi'an, Fly to Guilin
Attractions: Shaanxi History Museum, Xi'an City Wall
Visit the best history museum in China. Enjoy a bicycle trip on the Xi'an City Wall, which is the largest of the city defense systems in China. Say goodbye to Xi'an , you will meet the guide in Guilin and get to the hotel also in a private vehicle.
- Day 8 Guilin
Attractions: Minority village and Longsheng Terraced Field
Walk on the spectacular Dragon's Backbone Rice Terraces. Visit minority villages to see how local people lead their lives.
- Day 9 Guilin to Yangshuo
Attractions: Yangshuo Chinese Cookery Class, Li River Cruise
Relax on the world famous Li River cruise. If you're very lucky you might see one of the famous fishing cormorants. Yangshuo Chinese Cookery Class will teach you three typical dishes.
- Day 10 Yangshuo, Shanghai
Attractions: Yangshuo Countryside Cycling
Cycling along rice paddies, lanes and tracks of the distinctive and beautiful landscapes. Drive to Guilin and fly to Shanghai. Our private guide and driver will take you directly to the hotel.
- Day 11 Shanghai
Attractions: Yuyuan Garden, The Bund, Oriental Pearl TV Tower
An amazing day packed with something old and something new. The charms could not be found anywhere other than Shanghai!
- Day 12 Back Home from Beijing
Our guide and driver will transfer you to the airport and fly to Beijing. Then back home from Beijing with fond memories of highlights on your tour. Arrive home later today.

If the restaurant indicated is not available on the day, your guide will arrange another restaurant from our list of approved restaurants. Breakfast is usually a western style buffet. We endeavor to ensure that a choice of western and Chinese breakfasts is supplied, however there may be occasions when only a Chinese breakfast is available in some remote locations.
- Private Transfers:
Transfers between airports, hotels and scenic spots while sightseeing in Beijing, Xi'an, Shanghai by private air conditioned vehicle with a driver and English-speaking guide (as listed above).

As outlined in the itinerary an English-speaking guide and driver will be provided in each city, who will remain with you throughout your time in that city. A new guide and a new driver will meet you at each city on your tour, to provide you with the best local knowledge available.
Hotel fees are based on two people sharing one room with twin beds.
All hotels as listed in the above itinerary serve daily western or Chinese breakfast. All rooms are air-conditioned with private facilities unless specified.
