- Day 2 Arrive in Beijing
Be met at the arrival hall of the airport by our tour guide and transferred back to your hotel in a comfortable private vehicle.
- Day 3 Beijing
Attractions: Tiananmen Square, The Forbidden City, Treasure Houses, Hutong Tour, Lizexiang Pearl Store
Walk slowly through the glorious, ancient imperial palace, a leisure rickshaw is waiting for you to explore the zigzag lanes and see how local people lead their lives. Talk to them and get to know history from ordinary people’s point of view.
- Day 4 Beijing
Attractions: The Mutianyu Great Wall, Temple of Heaven, Shahe Cloisonne Factory
Today is a big day. Start by joining the morning exercise crowds, followed by a trip along the backbone of mountains to admire one of greatest man-made miracles in the world. A Peking Duck Banquet is a beautiful ending to this amazing day.
- Day 5 Beijing, Fly to Shanghai
Attractions: The Bund
Say good bye to Beijing and Take a fly to Shanghai. Meet your guide at the airport. Experience cultures merge at The Bund later.
- Day 6 Shanghai
Attractions: Yuyuan Garden, Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Jade Buddha Temple
An amazing day packed with something old and something new. The charms could not be found anywhere other than Shanghai!
- Day 7 Shanghai, fly to Xi'an
Attractions: Xintiandi, Tianzi Fang
Enjoy a relaxing day in Xintiandi and Tianzi Fang. Retailing and entertainment center flowing with restaurants, boutiques, cafes and bars of international standard. Fly to Xi'an and transfer to your hotel.
- Day 8 Xi'an
Attractions: The Terracotta Warriors and Horses, Shaanxi History Museum, Tai Chi Experience at the City Wall, Xi'an Imperial Fine Arts center
The essence of Xi’an’ most famous attractions arranged perfectly into one day. It is a great feast of both ancient sights and cultural activities.
- Day 9 Xi'an, Fly to Chongqing
Attractions: Ciqikou Ancient Town, Three Gorges Museum, Chongqing National Arts Institute Gallery
Say goodbye to Xi’an and embrace a sunshine cruise starting from Chongqing, before boarding, take the chance to feel the charm of the mountain city.
- Day 10 Yangtze Cruise
Attractions: Welcoming Banquet, Dancing Party, Fengdu Ghost City
Climb up the Ghost City in the mists, do not let the eerie feel get the best of you! A formal welcoming banquet surely lights up your day.
- Day 11 Cruise to Yichang
Attractions: Qutang Gorge, Wu Gorge, Shennong Stream
By taking a smaller boat, it enables you to get deeper into the gorges. Admire the strength and muscles your boat trackers show while pulling the boats through narrow beautiful gorges.
- Day 12 Yichang, Fly to Beijing
Attractions: Three Gorges Dam Site
Take a picture with the Three Gorges Dam, so far the largest water conservation project ever undertaken by man. Fly to Beijing in late afternoon, just in time to catch the neon lights lit up the sky from air.
- Day 13 Beijing, Journey Home
Attractions: Summer Palace
Enjoy the landscaped gardens, halls, pavilions and corridors in The Summer Palace, the playground for emperors. After lunch, take an International Flight to fly home later.

If the restaurant indicated is not available on the day, your guide will arrange another restaurant from our list of approved restaurants. Breakfast is usually a western style buffet. We endeavor to ensure that a choice of western and Chinese breakfasts is supplied, however there may be occasions when only a Chinese breakfast is available in some remote locations.

Transfers between airports, hotels and scenic spots while sightseeing in Beijing, Xi'an, Shanghai by private air conditioned vehicle with a driver and English-speaking guide (as listed above).

As outlined in the itinerary an English-speaking guide and driver will be provided in each city, who will remain with you throughout your time in that city. A new guide and a new driver will meet you at each city on your tour, to provide you with the best local knowledge available.
Hotel fees are based on two people sharing one room with twin beds.
All hotels as listed in the above itinerary serve daily western or Chinese breakfast. All rooms are air-conditioned with private facilities unless specified.
