Day 2

Today's Activities: Tiananmen Square, Hall of Clocks and Watches, The Forbidden City, Hutong Tour in Xicheng District
Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch at Beijing Ba Guo Bu Yi Restaurant

- Tiananmen Square (50 minutes): Tian'anmen Square is the largest city square in the centre of Beijing, named after the Tiananmen (literally, Gate of Heavenly Peace) which sits to its north, separating it from the Forbidden City. It has great cultural significance as it was the site of several key events in Chinese history. As the world's largest city square and enduring symbol of China's national pride, it is surrounded by many imposing buildings including the Heavenly Gate (entry to the Forbidden City), Museums, government buildings and Chairman Mao's Mausoleum.
- Hall of Clocks and Watches (30 minutes): It is located in the east of the Inner Court outside the Gate of Respect Movement (Jing Yun Men), Forbidden City. This exhibition hall houses about 200 clocks and watches from the imperial collection. Those watches and clocks are mostly made in Switzerland, England, France, the U.S and Japan, with some Chinese made timepieces on display as well.
- The Forbidden City (2.5 hours): The Forbidden City was home to 24 emperors between 1368 and 1911.This "city within a city" is a World Heritage Site, and is the largest and the best preserved ancient imperial architecture complex in the world, with great square, halls and gates contrast with intricate halls, gardens, courtyards and quarters. The exhibitions, both permanent and temporary, are all important treasures of ancient China.
- Hutong Tour in Xicheng District (1 hour): Hutong is a maze of historic alleyways with old single storey traditional courtyard houses, which are now fast disappearing. In this one hour tour, you can hop on a rickshaw to ride through the narrow alleys as well as visit a local family then walk on the Silver Ingot Bridge (Yinding Bridge) and find out about the different thresholds of the courtyards.
- Beijing Ba Guo Bu Yi Restaurant: Ba Guo Bu Yi Restaurant is located near Summer Palace in Haidian District. It serves authentic Sichuan cuisine with its traditional Chinese style decor. Recommended dishes include sweet and sour fish, fried pork with celery and Kungpao Chicken.

Day 3

Today's Activities: Temple of Heaven, The Mutianyu Great Wall(with round way cable car)
Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch at Xin Shuang Quan Restaurant, Chinese Dinner at Roasted Duck at Fangzhuang

- Temple of Heaven (1.5 hours): Built in 1420 during the Ming Dynasty, Temple of Heaven is a complex of Taoist buildings where emperors of Ming and Qing dynasties visited for annual ceremonies of pray for good harvests. Located in the south of Central Beijing, it covers an area of 273 hectares. Temple of Heaven was enrolled as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1998.
- The Mutianyu Great Wall(with round way cable car) (2 hours): This less-crowded section of the Great Wall is a about 2.5 hours' drive from downtown Beijing. A cable car takes you to a good section (avoiding a very steep climb), where you can walk along the wall, through the watch towers and enjoy superb views as it snakes across the hills and mountains. You can return by cable car, walk down or walk along the wall for about an hour to descend by chairlift. Wear good walking shoes and protection from the weather.
- Roasted Duck at Fangzhuang: Beijing Roast Duck is renowned as the most delicious food of Beijing while Quanjude Restaurants enjoy a high reputation for its Beijing roast duck. Quanjuede restaurants have developed their own technique and are famous for outstanding quality. Fangzhuang branch is located besides the Temple of Heaven.
- Xin Shuang Quan Restaurant: Xin Shuang Quan Restaurant is near Great Wall of Mutianyu section. This garden style restaurant serves farmhouse dishes, specializing in rainbow trout, sturgeon and salmon. The fabulous taste will leave you with great memories.

Today's Activities: Train station Transfer (Ulan Bator), Gandan Monastery, Fine Art Museum(Zanabazaar Museum), Our guide and driver will escort you from Ulan Bator to Terelji
Meals: Chinese Lunch

- Gandan Monastery: It’s the most important center for Buddhist in Mongolia. Before the Soviet purges more than 10.000 monks lived at the monastery. Fortunately to was saved from the destruction and has blossomed again since 1990. Services are held every day at around 10 a.m. Some buildings host Buddhist Colleges and also a Tibetan-style temple that contains a 26 meter high golden statue of Avalokitesvara.
- Fine Art Museum(Zanabazaar Museum): The collections include items from the Stone Age to the 20th Century. Particularly interesting is the collection of Buddhist art beginning in the 17th Century featuring masterpieces belong to Zanabazaar who has been called the Michelangelo of Asia. Many rooms display ancient paintings, Thangka, Mandala, Tsam Mask.

Day 6

Today's Activities: Gorkhi Terelji National Park

- Gorkhi Terelji National Park: Gorkhi Terelji National Park located 80 Kms North-East of Ulaan Baatar (1.500 mts. above sea level) is a very popular area for local people. A small portion of the park is developed for tourists with restaurants, souvenir shops and tourist camps or hotels. Most of the park is undeveloped and difficult to access except by walking or by horse. Park wildlife includes brown bears and over 250 species of birds. The park has many granitic rock formations and includes two famous formations: Turtle Rock and the Old Man Reading a Book (Praying Lama Rock).

Day 7

Place & Transport: Terelji to Ulan Bator
Today's Activities: Our guide and driver will escort you from Terelji to Ulan Bator, Natural History Museum, Choijin Lama Museum

- Natural History Museum: A cultural, scientific, and educational show that presents Mongolian history and culture from the dawn of humanity to the present day.
- Choijin Lama Museum: This museum presents the historical and cultural heritage of the previous century. Mongolian builders erected the temple between 1904 and 1908 in honor of the influential Lama Lubsanhaidav, the brother of the 8th Bogd Khaan. The monastery was active until 1938 and in November 1941, the monastery was included in the list of historical and cultural monuments and turned into a Museum. It is an ensemble of Buddhist architecture and consists of 5 temples and 5 arched gates. The works of national master painters and sculptors are of great interest. It also contains ancient Tsam masks and rare artifacts made by the famous Mongolian artist and sculptor, Zanabazaar.
