- Danba Stockade Tower: Reputed as "The County of a Thousand Watchtowers", Danba County has a wide distribution of watchtowers which mainly concentrate along the two banks of river valley. They have good outlooks and solid structures. In terms of usage, some are military fortresses for the transmission of information and some are geomantic omen watchtowers signifying good fortune. Some others are watchtowers related with religion or superstition and are considered as divine force for getting rid of evil things.
- Danba Tibetan Stockade Village: Danba Mountain Stockade Village is the most characteristic Tibetan Village in Jiarong area. Several hundred residential buildings lean on the mountains and spread in the nature in a dotted manner. It reflects the concept of "Man is an integral part of nature". No matter what kind of residential house and wing-room it has, the outside of the top floor is painted with yellow, black, and white color belt. It is one of the major characteristics of Jiarong Tibetan Stockade Village.

- Tagong Prairie: Tagong Prairie is located 110 kilometers off Kangding County. Its major scenic spots spread at both sides of the highway nearby. Tagong Prairie is a good pasture; it is a “divine place favored by Bodhisattva”.
- Yala Snow Mountain (overlooking): It is one of the holy mountains in Tibet with an altitude of 5820m.

- Drive from Batang to Zuogong: Drive from Batang to Zuogong (250km): Enter into Tibet region today. You will go through Wula Pass (altitude 4358m), Dongda Pass (altitude 5008m).

- Rawok Lake (2 hours): The Ranwu Lake, the largest in southeast of Tibet, is in the Village of Ran about 90 km from the Baiba Town neighboring the Nyingchi Prefecture. The lake, 3,800 meters above the sea level, has a water area of 22 square kilometers. On the bus ride from the Basu County, Chadu down the Sichuan-Tibet Highway (now the National Highway No. 318) one can see a corner of the lake. This is the most dangerous highroad in China.
- Local Restaurant: The limited restaurant options mean that there is no choice available however our guide will organize the best available based on the season and the surroundings.

- Overlook The Midui Glacier: Ranked as "One of Top Six Most Beautiful Show Caves in China" by China National Geography Magazine, Midui Glacier is located in is located in Yupu Town, about l 00 kilometers east of the Bomi County in Nyingchi Prefecture, Tibet. Its altitude is from 2,400 meters to 6,800 meters and it has snow and ice all year round.
- The Najiabawa Scenic Zone: The Yaluzhangbu River originates from the western side of the Himalaya Mountain and flows eastwards down the northern steep for more than 1,000 km to the eastern end of the Himalaya Range and makes a huge horseshoe-shaped turning in the bordering area of the four counties of Nyingchi, Milin, Motuo and Bomi. Within the area of east longitude of 95.0°and north latitude of 29.6°there stands the 7,782 meters high Najiabawa Peak, the 15th highest in this planet.
The distance from Lhasa down the Kang-Tibet Highway to Bayi is about 404 km. If one goes down the southern bank of the Niyang River and crosses the Gangga Bridge in Zhilujianbuhui to the Milin County, the distance will be 75 kilometers. Going from Milin eastwards along the Yaluzhangbu River for 91 km, one will get to the Pai District at the latitude of 3,100 meters. From there down the temporary highroad northwards for another 18 km, passing the Daduka Village to Gega, one may walk to the Nanjiabawa mountain climbing camping ground which is about 3,512 meters above the sea level. "Nanjiabawa" in the Tibetan language carries several meanings, of which one goes as "the burning thunder and lightning" and another "the spear that shoots upright to the heaven". The main peak of Nanjiabawa is 7,782 meters high and famed as “the father of icebergs”. The foot of the peak abounds with a host of hot springs and exuberant vegetation, which is an ideal resort for both leisure and exploration.

- The Gigantic Cypress Wood in Nyingchi (2 hours): The giant cypress wood is in the valley of the lower reaches of the Yaluzhangbu River and the Niyang River at the latitude of 3,000 to 3,400 meters. In the Giant Cypress Nature Reserve of the Bajie Township, there scatter hundreds of such huge cypresses only seen in Tibet, which are noted for their huge tree crowns and upright trunks.
- Overlook The Namjagbarwa Peak: In Tibetan, Namjagbarwa means a "long lance piercing into the sky". The sky-scraping Namjagbarwa Peak, with its majestic appearance, precipitous shape and unpredictable climate, has was an ambitious aim of mountain-climbing organizations from various countries for many years. It was finally conquered by a Sino-Japanese climbing team in 1992.

Day 10

Today's Activities: Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street

- Potala Palace (1 hour): Former winter home of the Dalai Lama, a vast, awe-inspiring maze of corridors and stairs leading through countless rooms of richly decorated statues, tombs, murals and antiques. You will climb past the White Palace into the Red Palace, where the file of pilgrims offering silk scarves, coins or yak butter to burn in the shrines combine to make this an unforgettable experience. Note: you need to be fit for climbing up the long stairways.
- Jokhang Temple (2 hours): Smaller and more manageable than the Potala, this 4-storey, golden-roofed temple is at the heart of a rich and living Tibetan Buddhism. Many locals pray here regularly; the Temple is surrounded by Barkhor Street and thronged with pilgrims and visitors. Yak butter lamps burn in front of rich statuary that includes the Sakyamuni Buddha brought to Tibet by Princess Wen Cheng in the 7th Century.
- Barkhor Street (2 hours): Built about 1,300 years ago, The Barkhor (pilgrims' circuit) is found in the heart of Lhasa encircling the Jokhang Temple. In the past, it was a designated circumambulation circuit, "a saint's road" in the eyes of Tibetans. Many people call the Barkhor "the window of Tibet" as it exhibits typical Tibetan life. Watch the pilgrims, wearing their local dress from many different parts of Tibet, as they circle clockwise around Jokhang Temple with prayer wheels, or prostrate them near the front gate. Join the locals and visitors to shop for local goods at the colourful stalls, or relax in a coffee shop or tea house to enjoy the passing parade.
- Kechu Hotel : Located near Jokhang Temple,The Kechu hotel and restaurant has a beautiful garden and provides Tibetan and Nepal food.

Day 11

Place & Transport: Lhasa
Today's Activities: Norbulingka, Drepung Monastery, Sera Monastery
Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch at Steak House Restaurant

- Norbulingka (2.5 hours): Norbulingka means "Jeweled Garden". Constructed as a summer palace for the Dalai Lama, it later served the whole government administration. It was built by the 7th Dalai Lama and served both administrative and religious purposes.
- Drepung Monastery (3.5 hours): Drepung Monastery lies in west of Lhasa under Mt. Gambo Utse, clustered round by the black mountain, its white grand buildings shining under the sunlight. Built in 1416, it is considered as one of the largest monasteries in the six principle monasteries of Gelu Sect in China. Drepung Monastery used to be the living palace of Dalai Lamas before the reconstruction of Potala palace (after the 5th Dalai Lamas was bestowed by Qing emperor Qianlong). The grand Shonton Festival is held in the early part of August every year. That is the busiest day there with crowds of people. It is an opportunity to enjoy the atmosphere of this festival.
- Sera Monastery (3 hours): Located in the northern suburbs of Lhasa, The Sera Monastery is a complex of 4 structures; the Great Assembly Hall and three colleges. It was founded in 1419 by Jamchen Chojey of Sakya Yeshe of Zel Gungtang (1355–1435), a disciple of Tsongkhapa. 'Sera' means wild roses and was called this because the monastery was surrounded by wild roses. One of the three main monasteries of Lhasa, it is here that the monks "famous daily debates" take place.
Tips: Every day (except Mondays) at 15:00, there is a debate about Buddhist doctrines among the monks at Sera Monastery. The debating is held in the grounds and is a necessary way of learning sutras and scriptures. Visitors can watch the debate, but it is advised to keep quiet.
- Steak House Restaurant: Steak House is near the Potala Palace and serves mainly Western and Tibetan cuisine. Surrounded by the alluring landscape, it is a great dining experience while traveling in Tibet.
