Suggested Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Hong Kong

A private car will be waiting to take you to your hotel so you can maximize your time in this exiting metropolis.

Day 2: Hong Kong: Victoria Peak, Aberdeen, Repulse Bay

A personal guide and driver will take you to see the best sights of Hong Kong Island. Victoria Peak is the most famous vantage point of the iconic water front, and has been a favorite of visitors for over hundred years. Peak Tram, nearly as old, is a charming way to get up the steep hillside.
Aberdeen is a harbor where fishermen and the adventurous live in houseboats; take a sampan water taxi ride and explore a bit more. The tour ends in Repulse Bay, one of the best beaches in quite an elite living area; best way to enjoy it is to get a picnic and stay until sunset.

Day 3: Flight to Guilin

This morning your guide will take you to the airport for your flight to Guilin, where you will be picked up and taken to your hotel. Your accommodation at the city center allows you to explore the picturesque Two Rivers Four Lakes area on your own.

Day 4: Li River Cruise, Yangshuo Countryside Cycling

The Li River Cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo is an experience praised by poets and writers for centuries; the mountains create a breathtaking backdrop to the bamboo groves and water buffaloes wading in the water.
In Yangshuo you get to see the scenery closer by going cycling on the countryside; the fields and orchards common in rural China are made even more special by the peaks seemingly just shooting out of the earth.

Day 5: Guilin: Elephant Trunk Hill, Reed Flute Cave, Folded Brocade Hill, Flight to Chongqing

Guilin has many natural wonders: Elephant Trunk Hill, the symbol of Guilin; Reed Flute Cave with its magical stalactites and stalagmites; and Folded Brocade Hill, famous for the best view of Li River. You have a chance to see them all before taking a flight to Chongqing.

Day 6: Chongqing: Three Gorges Museum, Panda Room in Chongqing Zoo, Goose Neck Park, Ciqikou Old Town, Yangtze Cruise

Three Gorges Museum has excellent exhibits of the history of the Dam and sculptures from the areas near the Yangtze. Panda Room in Chongqing Zoo is the highlight for many travelers in China; these delightful animals have a tendency to steal your heart.
Goose Neck Park is a favorite haunt of the locals, who come here to play mahjongg and practice taichi. Ciqikou Old Town has some charming narrow streets leading to the river side; why not take some of the delicious local snacks with you on the cruise, which the guide will take you to board in the late afternoon.

Day 7: Yangtze: Shibaozhai, Welcoming Banquet & Dancing

Shibaozhai is a graceful red pagoda, seemingly growing from the hillside. The twelve floors are all dedicated to famous poets, generals or scholars. An optional excursion to Fengdu Ghost City is a chance to see the eerie home town of the King of the Dead.

Day 8: Yangtze: Qutang Gorge, Wu Gorge, Shennong Stream

The wonderful views of Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge are complimented by a shore excursion to Shennong Stream, a tributary of the Yangtze known for its beautiful waterfalls and steep cliffs teeming with wild life. Visiting White Emperor City is your choice; the ancient town is now partially submerged and the top of the hill forms an island.
Crew’s performance provides the evening’s entertainment.

Day 9: Three Gorges Dam, Express Bus to Wuhan

A visit to the Three Gorges Dam is a great ending to the cruise; the enormous feat of engineering cannot but impress.
Our guide will take you to Yicheng to board an express bus to Wuhan.

Day 10: Flight to Hong Kong

A private car will take you to the airport for your flight to Hong Kong, so you don’t need to worry about travelling in a strange city. If you wish to extend or customize this tour, just ask!
