In the morning we will firstly visit Temple of Heaven, a complex of Taoist buildings where emperors of Ming and Qing dynasties visited for annual ceremonies of pray for good harvests. Later, you will have a pleasant trip on Mutianyu Section of the Great Wall. This section is less crowded, and a cable car will take you up and down the mountain, where you can walk along the wall, through the watch towers and enjoy superb views as it snakes across the hills and mountains. Wear good walking shoes and protection from the weather.
A visit to the cloisonne factory will finish up today's tour. You will see the elaborate manufacturing process of cloisonne wares, which are also called 'Copper - body and wire inlaid Enamel' and will make special souvenirs. There is no pressure to buy.

In the morning, you will walk on Tian'anmen Square, the world's largest city square in the center of Beijing and is surrounded by many imposing buildings. Get into the Forbidden City and you are stepping into China's history. This 'city within a city' is a World Heritage Site, and is the largest and the best preserved ancient imperial architecture complex in the world. Here, you will tour the Hall of Supreme Harmony, Hall of Mental Cultivation, Palace of Heavenly Purity and Royal Garden.
In the afternoon, we will get on a rickshaw to tour the old Hutong. Going pass the narrow lanes, visiting a local market and chitchat at a local house, this ride will offer you an insight of traditional Beijing's day-to-day life.

Sense the spirit of a typical royal garden at Summer Palace, the much-loved summer retreat of the imperial families. Walk pass the lovely landscaped gardens, halls, pavilions and corridors that set around the lake in natural harmony. The Olympic Green located at the north end of the central axis of Beijing City served as the venue for 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics. Bird's Nest and Water Cube have become new attractions for tourists. You will explore the park and walk outside the stadiums. Breakfast and Chinese lunch are included for today.
In the afternoon, transfer to the airport for flight to Xi'an, where you local guide, driver and vehicle will pick you up and transfer to hotel. The night is free for your leisure.
Discovered accidentally in 1974, this incredible Terracotta Army of over 7000 soldiers, archers, horses and chariots in full battle array has guarded Emperor Qin's tomb since 210BC. Now it demonstrates the power and wealth of China's first emperor Qin Shihuang. There is also an excellent museum and film about the history of the vaults. Before lunch, stop by an art center where you will see how the fine Chinese jade are carved and the function of jade.
In the afternoon, we will visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. This major Buddhist site was built in the 7th century to house the Buddhist materials that Xuanzang (Tripitaka) brought back from his epic journey to India.

In the morning, walk on the Ancient City Wall, presenting the best views of the city. The walls, ramparts, gates and watchtowers form one of the oldest and most complete city defenses that still stands firm. Feel up the vibe at the Muslim Quarter. The 500 meters long avenue paved by bluestones are dotted with many unique stalls, souvenir shops, and restaurants, which are mostly run by Muslim people.
Breakfast and Chinese lunch are included for today. Learn to make dumplings at a traditional dumpling restaurant and have lunch here. An afternoon flight takes you to Shanghai. Transfer to hotel for check-in and enjoy a free evening.
The first leg of today's visit starts with a free walk along The Bund. Gaze at the skyline of Shanghai while you are at Oriental Pearl TV Tower. It stands across the river from the Bund, among the exciting architecture of the east bank. The Shanghai History Museum is Located on the first floor of the Oriental TV Tower. There you can see the four major exhibition units reflecting Shanghai's history, modern and recent revolutionary history respectively.
Have lunch before we carry on the tour. A peaceful moment can be found at Yuyuan Garden. It was a private garden built in 1559 during the Ming Dynasty, with typical Chinese classic architecture and style dotted with rockeries, ponds, pavilions and corridors. Later, carry on the tour at French Concession and Xintiandi, where the old Shanghai houses and colonial style buildings perfectly blend into chic places.
Today's last stop will be a silk store to see how silk is produced from the cocoons of silk worms, and turned into the beautiful fabric we all know and love. Breakfast and Chinese lunch are included for today.
