As your flight arrives at Hohhot Airport, your local tour guide will wait for you at the arrival hall and transfer to hotel for check-in and rest. The tour starts when you feel ready.
Dazhao Lamasery is the biggest and most complete wooden structure in Hohhot, and after hundreds of years of history it still retains its former grandeur. It boasts a large collection of religious and cultural relics. Continue to Zhaojun Tomb, which was built for a beautiful Han imperial concubine - Wang Zhaojun. Good views of the countryside can be seen from the top of the tomb.

The last stop of the day is Five Pagoda Temple, where you will see exquisite inscriptions, statues and sculptures. There are five small dagobas (Tibetan style pagodas) on the pedestal of the pagoda, built of stone and bricks. Transfer back to hotel.
Located 90 km from Hohhot, Xilamuren Grassland is a favorite place to escape from the summer heat. Every May through August, with its abundance of green grass, sheep, horses, cattle and camels roam about alone or in herds, tended to by tribesmen in colorful native attires. Hospitable nomads often invite visitors to their yurts to share local spirits or taste their special yogurts.
