Known as "the highest race in the world”, the Tour of Qinghai Lake kicks off on July 14th from Xining. Much of the nine days of cycling are centered around this remarkable natural wonder.
The Taishan International Mountaineering Festival is a large-scale tourist festival which enjoys great reputation both at home and abroad. Hundreds of runners will race up the mountain, and not only compete for champion, but also enjoy the beautiful scenery such as sunrises, pine trees, "strangely jutting granite peaks", and views of clouds touching the mountainsides.
