Day 1

Place & Transport:Arrive in Kathmandu, Flight not included
Today's Activities:Airport Transfer (Kathmandu), Kathmandu Durbar Square, Boudha Nath Stupa

- Kathmandu Durbar Square (2 hours): The Durbar Square lies in the heart of Kathmandu. Locally also called as Hanuman Dhoka Palace Square-an ancient seat of the Nepalese Royalty. The Duibar Square Complex consists of a huge Royal Square is imposing with tremendous variety of temples dedicated to different Hindu gods and goddess. Most of the buildings seen here date from 15th to 18th century. Some of the important monuments to be seen here are: Taleju temple-, Jagannath temple, Kal Bhairav, Kumari Ghar, Kasthamandap - built from the timber of a single tree.
- Boudha Nath Stupa (3 hours): Located on the trade routes between Tibet and Nepal and one of the oldest and the biggest Buddhist monuments ever built in Nepal, Boudhanath is an imposing structure standing some 36 meters tall. The Stupa stands on the massive three level mandala style Platforms surrounded by colourful private family houses. The basic feature of this great stupa is very much like that of Swoyambhunath stupa except for the final display. It is much bigger than Swoyambhu stupa and lies on the valley floor whereas the former stands on the hill top. This stupa is said to have been built in 5th century A. D.

Rinpung Dzong

- Rinpung Dzong: Rinpung Dzong is the most famous temple in Bhutan. It was first built in 1645 A.D. It is now the national museum. Over 3000 artworks are displayed in the museum.
- Trashichhodzong: It is a landmark building in Thimphu, the modern capital town of Bhutan. The observation platform gives a panoramic view of Thimphu, including the government, the monastic school, Memorial Chorten and Thimphu valley.

Day 3

Place & Transport:Thimpu to Paro
Today's Activities:Thimphu Valley, Our guide and driver will escort you from Thimpu to Paro, Drukgyel Dzong, Kyichu Temple

- Thimphu Valley: Thimphu valley includes a visit to the Folk Heritage Museum, National Memorial Chorten, Zilukha Nunnery, Traditional paper factory and Takin mini Zoo.
- Drukgyel Dzong: A victory fortress of the 17th century. Although in ruins, this Dzong is of great historical importance. It was here that the Bhutanese finally defeated the invading Tibetans and drove them back.
- Kyichu Temple: It dates back to the 8th century. Kyichu temple is one of the last three surviving temples. In the 8th century 108 such temples were built by a Tibetan King. To date only three survive, two in Bhutan and one in Tibet, known as the Jokhang in Lhasa.

Day 4

Place & Transport:Paro
Today's Activities:Taktshang Goemba, Kyichu Lhakhang

- Taktshang Goemba: Climb uphill about 2 hours to reach the Taktshang monastery perched giddily on a rocky ledge. There is a sheer drop of 800m alongside a waterfall cascading. Taktshang means Tiger's Nest. Guru Padmasambhava, known as the Second Buddha, alighted from the flying tigress and meditated at the shrine in the second half of the 8th century. As a result, it is a dream destination for Buddhist pilgrims from the world over.
- Kyichu Lhakhang: It is one of the oldest and most sacred shrines of the Kingdom.

Day 5

Bhaktapur Durbar Square

- Bhaktapur Durbar Square: Bhaktapur literally meaning the city of devotees. It is renowned for its eleganence, fabulous culture, colorful festivals, traditional and typical Newar lifestyle. The square contains several temples and other important architectural showpieces. The 55 window, Batsala Temple is listed as a UNESCO world heritage site.
- Thamel: A tourist hub in central Kathmandu where you can find every facility.
