Day 2

Today's Activities: Li Garden, the Plum Garden (Meiyuan), Huishan Clay Figure Workshop

- Li Garden: Liyuan Garden is a famous garden, located at Lihu Lake. The name of Lihu Lake originated from the story of a senior official Fan Li and the beauty Xi Shi in Yue State during Spring and Autumn. Liyuan Garden, with its pavilions, corridors,and causeways on the lake side,is exquisitely designed and harmonious in color. Its manmade hills were erected to resemble the shapes of clouds. They ascend along spiraling, labyrinthine paths. In the garden are the 1,000-step verandah, the Pavilions of Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter,and Baojie Bridge which is 375 meters long and connects Liyuan Garden and Turtle Head Islet.
- the Plum Garden (Meiyuan): The Plum Garden (Meiyuan) ,situated west of Wuxi, is most famous for thousands of red plum trees which blossom in the spring and flowers planted there. The garden used to be part of a private residence during the Qing Dynasty but has since been re-landscaped and expanded to cover more than 70 thousand square meters, housing over 5,000 plum trees and 2,000 plum bonsai. The oldest specimens are said to have lived for over a 100 years. There are numerous scenic spots in the garden, including the Tianxin Terrace, Plum Garden Carving Stone, Xiaoluo Float, Xiangxue Sea, Qingfen Chamber and the Huoran Cave. The Plum Pagoda, the highest point in the garden, offers a spectacular springtime view over the sea of red plum blossom and the Taihu Lake.
- Huishan Clay Figure Workshop: It is world-famous with a history dating from the Nan Dynasty but it really prospered in Ming Dynasty.
- Local Restaurant: The limited restaurant options mean that there is no choice available however our guide will organize the best available based on the season and the surroundings.

Day 3

Place & Transport: Wuxi
Today's Activities: Cruise on Taihu Lake, Turtle Head Island, Jichang Garden
Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch at Local Restaurant

- Cruise on Taihu Lake: Taihu Lake is one of China's largest, most famous and picturesque freshwater lakes and connects Jiangsu and Zhejiang Provinces. Visitors are able to take a boat to cross the lake to view all of the tourist spots - White Marble Screen Wall, Water Screened Cave are just a couple. The lake has 40 islets which are home to animals and trees and plants. Some of the natural scenes to visit are Three Hills Isles and Turtle Head Isle.
- Turtle Head Island: Taihu Lake is a national scenic area with The Turtle's Head Park island located in Wuxi. It's actually a small stone stretching into the Taihu Lake shaped like a Turtle's head, hence the name.The Turtle's Head Park is located in the most beautiful area of Taihu Lake. Green hills and clean water blending into the perfect natural appear like a picture. It has been a tourist attraction for many years as many people are attracted by the beautiful scenery.
- Jichang Garden: Jichang garden has a history of 500 years and was first built during the reign of Emperor Zhengde of the Ming Dynasty (1506-1521). The garden was visited multiple times by two Emperors in the Qing Dynasty, Kangxi and Qianlong. It is a masterpiece of classic Chinese garden design.
