Yes. You will need a permit to the Canton Fair. Most of the hotel in Guangzhou are able to apply the permit for you. So you could do it when you get to Guangzhou.

you may take 2 or 4 passport size pic and on the side enternace they will give u a form u just fill it. i think u need ur orginal passsport and a a copy then 100 or 200 RMB chinese currency u pay and u get ur identity card to get in . its easy and u need to do it once only. then you can enter inside the fair hall. no hastle. the following exhibitions u need to jus have that its valid for years but if u loose the id card its double the fees next time u apply. thank you
