Founded in 1985, Harbin Ice and Snow Festival is a big day for local people and also visitors from home and abroad. Every year, the festival is opened on 5th Jan. and it lasts for one and half month. Ice and snow carving, skiing, swimming in chilly pool are highlights of the festival.
