Zhouxi Lusheng Festival

Zhouxi town is 40 minutes drive from Kaili in Guizhou Province. It is the ancestral home of the Miao people. The Lusheng Festival is held in town by the Miao people from 16th to 19th January in the Chinese lunar calendar. The festival features a lot of Miao ethnic activities such as singing, bullfighting, horse racing, and dancing to the rhythm of the Lusheng. It is one of the biggest festivals in the province and it provides many opportunities for visitors to enjoy the colorful minority customs with lots of photo opportunities.
