Flight

30 minutes away from the Weihai city proper, Weihai Airport now has flights to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Shenyang, Harbin, Chengdu, Xian, Jinan.. It is only 45 minutes flight from Weihai to the capital of South Korea, Seoul.

Train

Trains commuting between Beijing , Hannan, and Hankou and Weihan are in operation and the holiday express from Weihai to Zibo is also in operation. You can also take bus No.1 and No 12 to get to the bus station.

Highway

Weihai Long Distance Bus Station is at No.74 Dongcheng Rd, next to Weihai Railway Station. You can also take bus No. 3、4、6、7、12、13、16、22、23.
You can also take buses shuttling from Beijing, Tianjin, Qingdao, Dalian, Changchun, Shenyang to Weihai.

Bus schedule from Weihai to Jinan : 6：00、7：00、7:30、8：00、8：30、9：00、9：30、10：00、10：30、11：00、12：00、13：00、13：30、 14：00、15：15、16：15、17：00. The Bus ride is around seven hours.

Bus Schedules from Weihai to Qingdao: From 6:00 to 18:00, a bus depart from Weihai to Qingdao at every 15 minute. The journey  takes about 4 hours.

Sea Transportation

As a port city, Weihai has both domestic and international water transportation. Ferries to Inchon in North Korea are available on every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, departing at about 19:00, and the journey takes about 14 hours. Domestic ferries to Qingdao are available every day at 9:00, 17:00, 21:30 abd 4:30, which takes 7 or 8 hours

I would like to know the schedule and fare of buses from Weihai to Shanghai.

Hi Ahmed, the bus from Weihai to Shanghai departs at 16:00 from Weihai Bus Station. The fare is about CNY300.

Dear Oleg, I regret that I did not find any buses setting off from Qingdao East bus station. You could take a bus from Qingdao long distance bus station(青岛长途汽车站） which is located at No.2 Wenzhou Road, Sifang district(四方区温州路2号). It is available from 5:30am to 17:30pm and it takes about 2.5 hours. The cost is about CNY20/US$3 per person. Lussie Lu Replied on 2013-05-06

Hi Charlotte, there are lots of buses from Weihai Bus Station to Yantai. The cost is about CNY20-30.  Sorry, I don't know the taxi fare.

Hi Mazhar, yes, there are direct buses from Xuzhou to Weihai at Xuzhou Coach Station.  It takes about 10hrs.
