Yan'an Transportation
Air
Yan'an Airport is located at the east of Yan'an City. Flights to Xi'an, Beijing, Taiyuan, Guangzhou and many other major cities in China are available. There are airport shuttle buses from the city center to the airport, which charge five Yuan per person. You also can take public bus No.5 to get to the airport.
Railway
The railway network of Yan'an is well-developed, which connects Yan'an with Xi'an, Beijing, Shijiazhuang, Zhengzhou, Shanghai, Nanjing, Wuxi, Suzhou, Yulin, Shenmu and Ankang. Direct trains to these cities are all available at Yan’an Railway Station. You can take public buses No.1, No.3, No.11 or No.12 to get to the railway station.
Highway
National Highway 210 passes through Yan'an. It just takes three hours to reach Xi'an from Yan'an by bus. Direct buses to Xi'an, Xianyang, Beijing, Lanzhou, Shijiazhuang, Luoyang, Taiyuan, Baotou, Baoji, Yinchuan and Pingliang are available at Yan'an Long-distance Bus Station everyday from 5:30am to 17:30pm with intervals of thirty minutes.
Yan'an Long-distance Bus Station is located at Dongguang Avenue of Yan'an City. You can take public buses No.4, No. 6, No.16 or No.19 to get there.
