The Dragon, whose appearance mimics that of a Chinese dragon, offers excellent food, beautiful decorations, and high quality service—all once exclusive to the royal family in the past. On the ship are 9,999 dragons in different shapes and sizes, and anyone who locates all 9,999 dragons wins a prize of RMB 1,000,000.
Features
The interior of the ship is very beautiful. Travelers praise it as a work of art for its carved beams, painted rafters, winding corridors, marble railings, and golden sculptures. All of the waiters and waitresses on the ship are well trained and dress in Qing Dynasty style costumes, and serve passengers with great care.
The ship offers both Chinese and Western food. Facilities include karaoke, a beauty salon, a sauna, games room, and a shopping mall.
The ship holds 78 cabins, including 76 standard cabins and two suites.
Tipping Special Notes: All passengers on China Dragon cruises sailing between Chongqing and Yichang are required to pay $16/RMB100 per person as service charge. The service charge is payable at the time of boarding.
