Yinchuan Hedong Airport is located in the Linhe town, Lingwu City. It is 19 kilometers away from Yinchuan city. At present, there are already many air lines radiating from Yinchuan to Beijing, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Xi’an, Chengdu, Taiyuan, Chongqing, Urumqi and etc.
There is a shuttle bus between the Yinchuan Hedong Airport and Yinchuan city. Its departure is in accordance with the flights. The ticket price is 15 Yuan. The routine of the shuttle bus is Airport — Civil Aviation Tower — National North Street—International Restaurant — Century Tower (Xingqing District). Passengers starting from Yinchuan city can take the shuttle bus at the Century Tower. The departure time of the shuttle bus is 2 hours before the flights' departure.
It will cost around 30 Yuan to take a taxi to the airport from the old urban area of Yinchuan. And it will cost about 90 Yuan to take a taxi from the airport to the Xixia District and about 80 Yuan to the West Gate. Tourists can bargain with the drivers.
Yinchuan is situated along the Baotou - Lanzhou railway. The Baotou—Lanzhou railway runs across the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. It connects Baotou in the east, which is an important town in North China, and Lanzhou in the west, which is an ancient city in Northwest China. In addition, it also joins the Beijing—Baotou railway, Lanzhou—Xinjiang railway, Lanzhou—Qinghai railway, Zhongwei—Baotou railway and the Zhongbao railway which connects with the Longhai Railway, also known as the Eurasia Land Bridge. Trains departing from Yinchuan can take passengers to big-and-mid-sized cities directly, including Beijing, Shanghai, Xi'an, Chengdu, Xining, Lanzhou, Baotou, and Hohhot etc. They can also take passengers to some cities and counties in Ningxia Province.
Yinchuan Railway Station is located at the Xingzhou North street, Xixia District. Passengers can take the city bus No. 1, 11, 26, 30, 36, 41, 45, 101,201,301,303 and 306 to get the Yinchuan Railway Station.
The road transportation is convenient in Yinchuan. The No.109 and No.110 National Highway run across Yinchuan from north to south. The beginning of the No.211 National Highway and the end of the No. 307 National Highway are both in Yinchuan. Parts of the National Highway from Yinchuan to Qingdao and the National Highway from Yinchuan to Wuhan have come into use. Passengers can take buses to reach every part of Yinchuan. In addition, the long-distance buses can also take passengers to get to Beijing, Shenyang, Shaanxi, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and other cities of China.
Major Bus Stations
The newly-built Bus Station: The newly-built Bus Station is located at the Qinghe South Street, Xingqing District, near the Longpan Furniture Building bus station. It is about 4 kilometers away from the original South Gate bus station. To get to the west gate of the newly-built bus station, passengers can take the city bus line 37, 38,102 and 302 and get off at the Victory street station. In addition, passengers can also take the city bus line 1, 3, 12 and 23 and get off at the Yingbin Square bus station. To reach the east gate of the newly-built bus station, passengers can take the city bus line 19 and 101 and get off at the Qinghe Street bus station.
Yinchuan Tourism Bus Station (also known as the North Gate Bus Station): Yinchuan Tourism Bus Station is located at the No.40 North Road, East Ring, Longqing District. Here passengers can take the shuttle bus to get to the Mausoleum of Xixia dynasty, the Suyukou National Forest Park, the Zhenbei Fantasy Film City, Rolling Bell Valley, Shuidonggou site, Jinshuiyuan site and other famous scenic spots. To get to the Yinchuan Tourism Bus Station, passengers can take the city bus line 3, 11, 18, 20, 30, 37 and 49 to get there. In addition, passengers can also take the bus line 11 to get there at the Yinchuan railway station. Passengers departing from the new city region can take bus line 18 and 3 to get to the Tourism Bus Station.
Yinchuan West Bus Station: Yinchuan West Bus Station is located at No.109, Xingzhou North Road, Xixia District. It is about 200 meters away from the Yinchuan Railway Station. Passengers can take the city bus line 1, 11, 18, 30, 36, 41, 42, 45, 101, 102, 502 to get there.
The starting price of the taxi in Yinchuan is 5 Yuan for the first 3 kilometers, and 1 Yuan per kilometer thereafter. After 22:00, the starting price is 6 Yuan for the first 3 kilometers and 1.2 Yuan per kilometer thereafter.
