Transportation
Highway
There are two main passenger bus stations in the city called Yixing City Bus Station and Yixing Wuxi Sub-Station. Both of the stations have long-distance passenger buses every day that go to major cities in Jiangsu and Zhejiang Province. Yixing City Bus Station is located at Choubing Road near Yang Xian West Road. Buses numbered 2, 4, 5 and 7 go there.
Taxi
The starting fare of a taxi is 9 RMB. It is 1 RMB for every three kilometers traveled.
Public Transportation
Yixing has a good tourist bus system. Two routes will take you to most of the major tourist attractions.
Tourist Bus No.1 (purple)
City Bus Station - Best Hotel - International Hotel - Yixing Hotel - Yixing Grand Hotel - Fenlukou - Chuanbu - Ceramics Museum - Zhang Gong Cave – Yu Nu Tan – Linggu Cave – Tao Zhu Sheng Jin Scenic Area - Bamboo Scenic Area.
- Departure time: 5:40 - 17: 30. Buses depart every 25 minutes.
- Ticket: 7 yuan for the whole trip
Travel Bus No.2 (green)
City Bus Station - Best Hotel - International Hotel - Yixing Hotel - Yixing Grand Hotel - Fenlukou - Chuanbu - Jingle Resort - Lotus Temple - Shanjuan Scenic Area - Zhangzhu Town Government - Huang Shu Village – Jade Mountain – Linchang - Longchi Mountain Scenic Area.
- Departure time: 5:40 - 17: 30. Buses depart every 25 minutes.
- Ticket: 7.5 yuan for the whole trip
