There are two main passenger bus stations in the city called Yixing City Bus Station and Yixing Wuxi Sub-Station. Both of the stations have long-distance passenger buses every day that go to major cities in Jiangsu and Zhejiang Province. Yixing City Bus Station is located at Choubing Road near Yang Xian West Road. Buses numbered 2, 4, 5 and 7 go there.
The starting fare of a taxi is 9 RMB. It is 1 RMB for every three kilometers traveled.
Yixing has a good tourist bus system. Two routes will take you to most of the major tourist attractions.

I will be flying into Chanzhou airport, and need to get from there to Yixing. What would be my options?
I think you mean Changzhou airport. If so, you could take No.32 bus to Changzhou train station from airport. It is available from 6:40am to 18:00pm and it costs about CNY2/US$0.32. Then go to Changzhou long distance bus station which is near the train staton, located at No. 18 Xinfeng Road(新丰街18号). There are many buses going to Yixing from 5:40am to 18:20pm. It takes about one hour and it costs about CNY20/US$3.2 per person. Lussie Lu replied on 2014-06-13

I''d like to know if there are tours to Yixing out of Shanghai.
Yixing is not a famous tourist city in China, I regret that we don't have any tours in this city at present. Are you considering some other cities? Lussie Lu replied on 2013-05-27
