June is also the rainy season in Zhuhai. The weather conditions are almost the same as in May, but it is hotter, with an average temperature of about 29 °C (84 °F). Thunderstorms and heavy showers occasionally occur in the city. Summer clothing, such as T-shirts, skirts, etc., are adequate but also bring long-sleeve clothing for cool, rainy days.

June does not fall during the peak travel season in Zhuhai. The Chinese Dragon Boat Festival (on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month) usually takes place during June, and visitors can enjoy dragon boat races and other celebrations.
