Shixiang Lake Tulip Festival: One of the biggest tulip festivals in Asia is held at Shixiang Lake. It is about 93 kilometers from Chengdu.
See the Sanxingdui Museum: For history buffs, the Sanxingdui Museum is a main attraction in Chengdu. It contains the artifacts and beautiful bronze castings of a once forgotten and recently discovered ancient civilization of the same name. The civilization is distinctive and unusual in many ways.
