At about 8:00 am, you will be picked up from your hotel lobby in Guilin by tour guide, coach and driver, and today the tour. It takes about 2.5 hours to get to the foot of mountains where Longji Rice Terraces is located.
The first sight of a large land of rice terraces will feast your eyes. The scenery changes from season to season. These unique rice terraces were firstly built in the 13th century, and have been feeding generations of local people since then. The terraces circle like ribbons spiral the mountains tier upon tier.
Trek up the mountain as you enjoy the view, and walk pass the ethnic villages with their old houses, and local people dressed in their traditional clothes. Enjoy a simple Chinese lunch in the restaurant on the mountain, and watch the long-hair dance performed by local ethnic women who have hair as long as 1 meter.
After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Guilin at around 17:00.
