Daniele's Feedback on 22-Day China Tour

The trip is unfortunately over and we are back home... in our office! 3 weeks have flown fast, and it means we had great time.
As we were requested we provided our feedback at each stage or the tour, but I would like to write a couple of lines now, after the whole journey, becasue it make more sense than during it.
We want to first underline how positively impressed we are about the reliability and good services of ChinaHighlights. You can understand our initial skepticism becasue nowadays it can be difficult and dangerous to fully rely on services and people found on the Internet. But we decided to go for it and we are now fully satisfied and really impressed by the perfect organization. Everything went exactly how it was agreed and planned and we can only be happy with your job first and also the one of the different guides. We liked a lot the fact you were always available.
Of course there are always criticisms and remarks but I want to underline that they are more linked to personal impressions and preferences rather than insatisfaction for your services. During the trip we found here and there aspects we didn't like or we would have approached differently and we have somethimes pointed them out in the feedback form. These were often linked to our personal preferences or impressions, if we liked or not a particular place or activity. Somebody else may like the same thing. Basically your job was done correctly but after knowing that, we would have done something differently. An example is the lunches: we asked not to include them because we think it's much better (and cheaper!) to mingle with locals and try local places. Notwithstanding we had some lunches included and we didn't like those turistic restaurants. It's really a pity to go there instead of going to markets and local eateries, we think we lost a big part of the trip. But probably most of your customers like turistic places and you included them. But you should inform that in China is perfectly possible to eat locally and easy to find places everywhere!
Some of our criticisms are also linked to the fact we are not used to travel with an 'all inclusive' package where everything is done by somebody else, super turistic places and hotels. But we knew before that it would have been like this and at the end it was indeed much easier and confortable. We only think that with ChinaHghlights way of travelling you risk to miss the real and local life and it's very hard to get in contact with people. But, again, probably most of your customers like this and we personally will do differently next time. Again, we are happy with your job because it's what we agreed at the beginning.
I want to clarify also the rating we gave to each activity and guide and how we understood it. In our understanding, and according the english wording used, 3 is already a good rating because it means ''we are satisfied, it is like we expected''. 4 is very good since it means ''it's MORE than what we expected''. I would use 5 only in case something is incredibly good and unexpected, according the wording it should be something amazing, the best thing in life. I have personally traveleld a lot and I saw really amazing things, so please you should read our rating considering that 4 means very good.
Now it's time to think about the daily life again... a bit different from what we left one month ago...
