Thanks for your follow up email. We truly enjoyed our visit and stay in china via the china highlights tour company. The accommodations, itineraries, guides and restaurants were all excellent selections. I could not speak more highly of the ease with which our trip went.
Your attention to detail and concern for your guests made the journey exquisite!
However, I do want to comment on one experience during our trip that was not up to our expectations. I'm sure after hearing our concerns, you would agree it is not the quality china highlights would offer your customers.
While in shanghai, our family visited the Zhujiajiao Water Town, which was quite enjoyable. Our lunch was planned for the shanghai caiyuan hotel. As soon as we entered, plates with water still on them were thrown at us, glasses that were wet were placed in front of us. My husband ordered a beer and it was poured at another table and brought out to him. He got up and walked over to the bottle which was a large sized bottle, but the glasses were small and the bottle was practically empty. The beer bottle had already been opened. Then food started being brought out immediately, but we had not ordered anything, and the dishes did not look appetizing nor the establishment look hygenic. We told our guide that we did not feel comfortable at all here, and that we would like to leave, we would get our own lunch once back in shanghai. I believe our guide paid for the lunch even though we did not eat.
