Thank you again for all of your hard work preparing our tour. It was lovely to finally meet you.
Our guide in Shanghai, Helen, was excellent. She was by far the best one we had. She was extremely knowledgeable and helpful.
In Chengdu, Michelle was very personable and helpful. She was lots of fun to be around and knowledgeable.
A suggestion that one member of our group suggested was that when the guides meet a group at the airport, find out if they are hungry or need anything else immediately. When we arrived in Beijing we were very hungry, not having eaten for nine hours because of delays with the flight and inedible food on the flight. All we wanted was something to eat right away.
I would suggest if you are catering to a North American clientelle that you strive to find guides who are more proficient in English. Having knowledgeable local guides is important. Helen and Michelle were able to give us lots of information and stories that only a local would know.
You did an excellent job preparing our itineray for us and you were very accomodating. Some parts of the tour China Highlights did better than the other tour company we used. With the other company, we were not consulted about meals. The guides just generally asked about what kinds of foods we liked and all of our meals were ordered for us. We liked that with your company the guides gaves us menus and consulted with us about each dish that was ordered. We like that guides always had water on hand for us. The vans we had were for the most part comfortable and roomy. The guides and drivers were always on time and friendly. The driver we had on the second day in Beijing was a rather scarey driver and we did not always feel safe, but the other drivers were very good.
I hope this information is helpful. We love China and hope to come back again soon. Thank you for the help you gave us while we were in China and for all of your time preparing for our trip.
We are sorry that we did not get in touch with you sooner to let you know what an amazing trip we had in China! It surpassed anything we had expected and compliment you for your attention to detail, follow-up and organization. We found your country to be so beautiful and the people very welcoming. We're happy that we had the chance to meet you in person and enjoy a lovely dinner with you.
Yesterday we had dinner with Linda and Jim a picked up the gifts that you sent to us. How very thoughtful of you to send us gifts .... thank you Michael.
It is quite evident that you thoroughly enjoy your work from your communications with us and having met you. We wish you a double New Year greeting ... the first one from Don and I in Canada as we look forward to our New Year on January 1 and the second one of course for good health, prosperity and happiness for your New Year on January 23!
We enjoy receiving your e-mails that include holiday dates, special events and cultural details about China. We feel that we can always learn more!
Take care and all the best to you and your family in 2012!
