The city has many famous cuisine, such as Fotiaoqiang--Steamed Abalone with Shark's Fin and Fish Maw in Broth, wine preserved chicken and shark's lip with chicken cream. You can go to the Juchunquan Restaurant to have a taste of Fotiaoqiang and other traditional cuisine. There are some other specific snacks in Fuzhou such as fish ball, taro paste, dried meat floss, scallion meat pie, egg roll, etc. A snack bar called Weizhongwei can serve you these various traditional snacks.

The most popular snack bar in Fuzhou is Shaxian county snack bar, which are famous for its noodles served with soy sauce, simmered soup in jars, fish balls and won ton made by the local people from this county. The bar is quite small, but it's a must-go place for all the tourists.
