Jiulong Waterfall Forest Park in Heng County is an old geological park with grand sandstones and peaks with attitudes ranging from 400 meters to 700 meters. Lush plants, old trees and strange flowers grow in the park, along with crossing canes and running streams.
Located in Heng county of Nanning city, Jiulong Waterfall Forest Park is in the southern part of Zhenglong Mountain, which is 90 kilometers away from Nanning city.
Jiulong Waterfall Forest Park has a south subtropical monsoon climate, rich in both rainfall and sunshine. It is sunny and dry in winter, but rainy and humid in the summer. Generally speaking, the temperature in the forest is 1-2 °C lower than that outside the area.
Endowed with much rainfall, there are many waterfalls and streams here. The five main streams are Shizi stream, Pingtian stream, Bailong stream, Liyu stream and Jiulong stream, which meet in the forest and run towards Binyang.
The main scenic spots are "Dragons Welcoming Guests", "Two Dragons Playing Ball", "Purple Dragons Date" and the largest sculpture complex in Guangxi, the Feitian Goddess Surrounded by Birds Sculpture Complex, illustrating that human and nature exist in harmony.
Moreover, the Li Yu Shan Holiday Resort, with its primitive, simple yet elegantly built ethnic houses, is a good place to spend the holidays, escape the summer heat, sightseeing, traveling and having an adventure.
Visitors can first take a bus at Huaqiang Passenger Station to Heng County, where they can transit to the park.
