Qinghai Maps

Qinghai, located in Western China, is one of the important provinces on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. It covers an area of 721,000 square kilometers. Because it has the largest inland saltwater lake in China – Qinghai Lake – it is named Qinghai. It takes 2 hours and 25 minutes to fly from Qinghai to Beijing.

Qinghai Attractions Map

Qinghai has some very beautiful tourism areas. Its famous scenic spots are Bird Island, Sun Yue Mountain, Qinghai Lake, and Taer Monastery. Bird Island is located in the western part of Qinghai Lake, covering an area of about 1 square kilometer. Every year, about 100,000 migratory birds fly from Southern China and Southeast Asia, which is very rare in Asia.
