With a construction area of 11,000 square meters, Shanghai International Exhibition Center covers 32,000 square meters, and it features a spherical architectural design. The bigger sphere in the east and the smaller one in the west of the building measure 50 meters and 38 meters in diameter respectively, and they are well connected by the annexed buildings.

Shanghai International Exhibition Center was built in 1992 and has been managed by Intex Shanghai Co., Ltd. since 1995. It’s well-equipped with advanced service facilities, including 30 meeting rooms of various sizes, multi-functional conference halls, VIP reception rooms, Internet access, projecting apparatuses, a broadcasting and sound system, digital monitoring aids, news centers, Western and Chinese restaurants, and convenience stores.
Over 180 large-scale exhibitions and 560 seminars have been held in the Shanghai International Exhibition Center since its inception, including more than 150 international exhibitions. Over 6 million visitors from the globe have visited it, making it one of the most important exhibition venues in Shanghai.
