This theme park stretches about 9 square kilometers from the coast to high up a mountain in Shenzhen. It comprises Ecoventure Valley and Tea Stream Valley as the main park areas. Ecoventure Valley offers tourists with a natural landscape experience and features water parks with innovative science education facilities, like Fiord Land Forest and Seafield Town.
OCT was built at the cost of 3.5 billion yuan and features outdoor sporting activities, science education facilities, Eco-tourism and leisure facilities in an integrated urban mountain theme resort. The park also offers an interaction of Chinese and Western cultures at the Yintelagen Sanzhou area, wetlands garden, tea garden, and the old town, among other areas.
Seafield area is a model American town in the 19th century. The area offers wine culture, a lakeside gallery, and an inn. The town has a series of bronze sculptures of people picking grapes and brewing wine. The area is presented culturally as a wine town, although tourists also eat local dishes and taste local tea. They get to enjoy the Zen tea culture, tea distillery, pottery workshop and watching tea seremonies.
The park also has a model Swiss town with London phone booths and lakeside restaurants.
