High Speed Railway Tour from Guangzhou to Guilin

Day 1: Arrival and Half-Day Guilin City Tour

Take a high-speed train from Guangzhou South Station and arrive at Guilin North Station, where your guide will meet you. After half an hour’s drive to downtown Guilin, start your half-day tour with Reed Flute Cave to see awesome stalactites and stalagmites. Then visit Fubo Hill to enjoy ancient stone carvings and a city bird’s eye view.

Day 2: Li River Cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo

After half an hour’s drive to Zhujiang Wharf, your guide will show you the wonders of the Li on your four-hour Li River Cruise, a “must” for a Guilin tour. You can choose to stay on the deck to breathe fresh air or take seat inside. The boat navigating down the river is just like watching a Chinese landscape scroll painting unroll.

The boat arrives at Yangshuo at about 13:30. Enjoy free time in the relaxing town, and stay in Yangshuo overnight.
Day 3: Biking in Yangshuo’s Villages and Drive to Longsheng
Bike along the paths of Yangshuo villages, stop at the edge of rice fields for photos, say hello to water buffalos and local farmers who are working in the rice paddies, then visit a local farmer’s house. You will get the opportunity to get closer to local life.
Day 4: Climb to Sightseeing Spots at Ping’an and Drive to Sanjiang

Longsheng’s terraces fields are also called ‘the stairway to heaven’. It witnesses to the Yao and Zhuang minority people’s struggle and integration with nature over the generations. Climbing to the sightseeing spots of Ping’an village you will see the terraces from different angles.

In the afternoon, you will be driven to Sanjiang, the Dong minority’s hometown. Stay at a hotel in Sanjiang.
Day 5: Visit Chengyang Wind and Rain Bridge and back to Guangzhou

You will be driven about 40 minutes from Sanjiang town to Chengyang. Visit Bazhai, ’the Eight Villages’. The ‘Wind and Rain’ Bridge is the largest one of its kind in the world.

In the afternoon take the HSR from Sanjiang Railway Station back to Guangzhou.
