Two international carriages will be added to the international route on Wednesday and Saturday.

What’s the Train Journey Like to Vladivostok

This international train departs in the evening from Harbin East Railway Station, terminated at Vladivostok through Suifenhe, a border city in China. It takes 2 nights to cover 487 miles.

The train stops briefly at several intermediate stations. It arrives at the main station Suifenhe Station on the morning of the second day. The conductor will take passengers’ passports and take to border check. The train will stop at this Suifenhe for around 4 hours.

You need to get off the train at Grodekovo, Russian border city, with all your luggage to go through immigration inspection. In the mean time, the train will be shunted off to have the wheels changed for the Russian gauge. After around 6 hours’ stop, the train will leave for Ussuriysk.

The train arrives at the terminal station Vladivostok on the morning of the third day. Vladivostok Station is the east end of Trans-Siberian railway and is also a terminal for ships and cruises.
