Trip Notes for Chaoshan Area Travel
Mid-October to November is the best time. After typhoon and heat season, clear skies, stunning sea views, and plump autumn seafood make it a perfect season to indulge your mood and taste buds.
But if you are visiting for festive traditions like Yingge Dance and God Parades, the Lantern Festival (late February to early March) is the busiest time. As it is also peak season in Chaoshan, expect higher hotel prices and larger crowds.
