Travel Tips
Considering the long journey duration on a normal-speed train, you can take a high-speed train from Guangzhou to Xi’an and then take a high-speed train from Xi’an to Taiyuan.
You can also consider taking a flight. There are six pairs of flights between Guangzhou and Taiyuan every day and the journey duration is about 3 hours. The full airfare is about 1,670 CNY.
However, you can check to see if there are any discounts in advance. Sometimes, you can find very good discounts, such as 60% off in April 2020.
