Nansha Golf Course is located in Nansha District, and it is a valley course with 36 pins. The district is situated in the center of the Pearl River Delta and neighboring cities Guangzhou, Foshan, Zhongshan and Shunde; the traffic there is very convenient.
The golf course is built along the mountain ridge, possessing an advantaged natural environment. The pool in the course not only functions as a water supply to irrigate the grassland, but also add more beautiful scenery to the course. The hillsides and the valleys make the course waved, which adds more interests into playing golf.
Two practice courts, indoor tennis stadium, hotel, villa and a club house are available in the course. The club house in the course is near the ninth pin, covering an area of 7,000 square meters (75,347 square ft) and having Chinese and Western Restaurants, teahouse, fitness rooms, and banquet hall and so on.
2. Jiulong Lake Golf Club 广州九龙湖高尔夫球会

Jiulong Lake Golf Club is located in the Jiulong Lake Holiday Resort. Besides golf course, a small town in European style, a hotel, a villa and an amusement park for children are also available there. The course backs continuous hills which are cover with verdant trees, together with Jiulong Lake, the course turn out to be a place with fresh air and pleasant weather condition.
Covering an area of about 1.7 square kilometers (0.67 square miles), it seems that the fairways wind in a picture with verdant woods, lush grassland, continuous hills and cyan lake. In the out course, there is a flourishing litchi woods, golf buddies not only can play golf in the picturesque course, but also can enjoy the happiness of picking litchis in July. In a word, the course can be described as following: half of the course is a view of hillside, and the other is a view of lake.
3. Lotus Hill Golf Club 广州莲花山高尔夫球会

Lotus Hill Golf Club is located in the Pearl River Delta, and it was built in 1996, one of the earliest golf club in China. Besides a golf course built in international standard, hotel, villa, apartment and sports and recreational facilities are available in the club. It only takes about five minutes from Lotus Hill Harbor to the club. The course is built at the foot of the Lotus Hill, well keeping the terrain of the valley and the beautiful natural scenery, and cleverly taking advantage of the natural rocks, woods and lakes.
In particular, the 17th pin is honored as the symbol of the course for its graceful scenery and its challenge to golf buddies: the pin is baking a natural 25-meter-heigh (or 82-ft-heigh) rock and facing to a pool, hence golf buddies need to choose the right golf stick and calculate exactly, if not, it will be very easy to kick the ball into the pool while not into the putting green. So the pin is called "devil pin".
4. Nanhu Golf Country Club 广州南湖高尔夫俱乐部

Built in 1997 and designed by renowned golf professional Jack Nicklaus, Nanhu Golf Country Club is located beside Nanhu (the south lake) and has Baiyun Mountain as the backdrop. It is about 45 minutes drive from Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, and about 30 minutes drive from Guangzhou city center. It is a 18 hole 72 par course measuring 6776 yards. It is a challenging course for golfers of all levels, and the view is great. The first nine holes are beside the lake, while the back nine holes winds their way along the mountain in the tree-covered valley.
5. Luhu Golf Country Club 广州麓湖高尔夫球乡村俱乐部

Designed by Dave Thomas, it is about 20 minutes drive from Guangzhou city center, and 30 minutes from Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport. The golf course is located at the foothills of mountains and on the edge of Luhu Lake. It is a 18-hole (par 72) golf course with its composite 9-hole night course, which is the only one in Guangzhou.
