Fue una experiencia fantástica. Nos ha encantado Cheng du, el gran buda de Leshan ( es impresionante), y el encanto de la reserva de los pandas . Pero sobre todo, nuestra guapísima guía Lora, habla estupendamente espa?ol, y su conocimiento de la zona y amabilidad nos enamoraron. Recomendamos sin lugar a dudas la visita a Cheng du, y si es con Lora ?Mejor!

Fi Fi has been an amazing and very accommodating tour guide in Chengdu. She is very knowledgeable, patient, enthusiastic, cheerful and engaging. Excellent and very happy with the service!!

Helen, our private guide in Chendu, was just the best. An ABSOLUTE 6 Star Guide. She met us from the airport, calmly reviewed out 3 day itinerary, checked all was as we expected, and then spent 3 days ensuring we have the best time possible. Helen was lovely and was very flexible to our needs, and changed a few things for us. She took us on so many unscheduled activities, such as a Local Street Foodie tour, which was just fabulous, and tea in the local park, with ear cleaning, and a “marriage market” (although we couldn’t offload our daughter there !). Helen seemed to be telepathic in understanding what we wanted, and you could see she was thinking and adjusting everything all the time, to suit us. We went to the panda research centre, spent a day exploring chengdu, and took a trip out to huanglong and Jiuzhaigou. Evan was our guide for everything and he was brilliant! I’d highly recommend spending a few days in Chengdu to explore the beautiful city. Evan really gave us an insight into local life and he really did make our trip one to remember!

Our trip to Chengdu as a family of 5 was amazing. Everything went very well, our lovely tour guide Helen picked us up from the airport and planned 2 days full with many beautiful sights in and around Chengdu. Helen is a very knowledgeable, kind, funny and very energetic person. Her positive and outgoing personality is very refreshing and it kept us moving and wanting to visit more things. We visited the Panda sanctuary and research centre, we ate many delicious local foods and visited the Leshuan village with the Happy Buddha. Everything went well, Helen was always on time and we felt very good around her. We are very grateful to have met Helen and we kindly recommend her to others who are looking for an amazing adventure in Chengdu.

We had great days in Chengdu with our guide Helen. She is a nice women with knowledge about the history of Chengdu. We visited Buddha Park in Leshan and of course the amazing Pandas. We also can recommend the tea house park. It's a great experience - tasting tea and enjoying the atmosphere in this park while seating, drinking tea and watching the locals. Helen was able to answer all open questions. If you would like to buy smth special, she is doing her best to organize it for you. We can highly recommend Helen as a guide. We were able to see the most notable areas of a very large city in s short period of time. Mr. Evan was friendly, knowledgeable and patient.

Our tour guide was Evan who was very helpful and provided us with local recommendations and was informative. Whilst in Chengdu we went to the panda base, leshan Buddha, mount Qing Chen and the Dujiangyan irrigation site all guided by Evan. During our month touring China, we found Chengdu to be one of the highlights.

All the tour guides we had arranged via Carrie at China Highlights were excellent. We had Jessica in Beijing for the Forbidden City, the hutongs, followed by Mutianyu at the Great Wall. At the last minute, we arranged to go to the summer palace and had Mary as our guide. Paul in Xi'an guided us to the terracotta warriors and was very informative. We had Evan in Chengdu for the panda base, Mount Qing Chen, the Leshan Buddha and Dujiangan irrigation site. Evan was helpful and able to adapt to our pace. He also provided us with useful recommendations for local places to eat in Chengdu. When we went to Guilin and Yangshuo, we had LiPing, who was very good. She accompanied us to the Longji rice terraces, the boat trip to Yangshuo and the cormorant fisherman photo shoot. In Suzhou, we had Juliette who accompanied us to Tongli water town, the Tongli garden and the humble administrators garden. It was a truly relaxing morning on the boat in Tongli. Our day trips were well organised and enjoyable.

We had an incredible stay in Chengdu with our tour guide Sammi. She was very knowledgable and told us many interesting facts about the pandas and other parts of Chengdu. We also really appreciated her flexibility to accomodate our wishes and her great English. We would definitely book our tour with Sammi again !

Our family (my wife, two kids, and I) recently visited Chengdu, and we were lucky enough to have Shelly as our guide. From the moment we met her, we knew we were in great hands. Shelly was not only incredibly knowledgeable about Chengdu’s history, culture, and traditions, but she also had a warm and engaging personality that made the entire experience so much fun for all of us. She tailored the tour perfectly to suit our family, keeping our kids entertained and excited while sharing fascinating insights about the city. Visiting the adorable pandas at the panda centre was, of course, a highlight, and Shelly made it even more special with her expert guidance and fun facts. She also introduced us to some amazing local food, ensuring we got a true taste of Chengdu’s famous culinary scene. Shelly’s passion for her city really shone through, and her attention to detail and care for our experience were second to none. She even went out of her way to help us with tips for exploring on our own after the tour. If you’re visiting Chengdu, I can’t recommend Shelly highly enough. She’s not just a guide; she’s someone who genuinely loves sharing her city with others and making sure you leave with unforgettable memories. A visit to Chengdu as part of our 12 day China tour was made very special by having FiFi as our guide. FiFi was fun loving with a quick sense of humor but was the ultimate professional when sharing her knowledge and experience about the pandas. She was caring and considerate for our wellbeing at all times and showed that she wanted us to have the best time while she was our guide. Yes, we had a great time with FiFi who is a definite asset to Chinahighlights.

Fantastic day out with Sarah (周诗婕） Was highly informed of the local history and especially her beloved Pandas. Her knowledge of them is beyond encyclopaedic. I asked for a late change in the programme and this was professional organised without any issues. Would highly recommend.

Visiting Chengdu with Jason was great, he was very nice and his english excellent, going to the Panda base was an unforgettable experience.

We were met at the train station by Evan and our driver Lee and taken it to the hotel. The next morning we were picked up and taken to the panda exhibit which Evan knew to start at the top and work our way down. It resulted in a lovely day and I would highly recommend Evan to be your guy in Chengdu.. And don't forget to go to the tinder park where you can get your ears cleaned.iykyk

We had a fabulous few days in Chengdu as a family of 4. Our guide Evan and his brother were wonderful and very knowledgeable. Evan greeted us at the train station and surprised our two children with toy pandas...much to their delight. Evan ensured we had good rooms in our hotel and gave us a very engaging tour of the panda centre and the markets. The restaurant Evan picked was delicious (and met our fussy children's needs) and we had one of favourite dishes in china there. Chengdu was a good base for us to head to Jiuzhaigou for a few days. Holiday Inn exceeded our expectations and was a convenient location. Our girls were sad to say goodbye to Evan and his brother, who farewelled us with a bag of snacks.

We recently visited China on a private tour organized by Heidi at China Highlights. It was an excellent tour and exceeded our expectations! Thomas in Beijing was extremely knowledgeable about all the historical national treasures and made the visit more memorable by sharing many interesting stories and details. Thomas was very flexible and accommodating of all our needs and requests - nothing we asked was ever a problem. Our guide in Xi’an, Mervyn, was very friendly and welcoming. She talked with us throughout the visit to make sure the trip was everything we wanted it to be, and suggested activities based on our interests. Mervyn was an excellent guide for the Terra cotta warrior museum, and we loved walking on the ancient city wall. We also appreciated the opportunity to meet and share lunch with a local family. Mervyn went above and beyond the planned itinerary. We also visited Chengdu - our guide, Molly, accompanied us to the panda reserve for an amazing and very up-close viewing experience. Molly is delightful and made our brief visit to Chengdu feel very unrushed and pleasant. She was attentive to small details, such as arranging a box breakfast from the hotel in order to accommodate our early start time to the reserve. After Chengdu, we travelled to Kunming, truly the city of flowers! Lulu not only provided an excellent tour of the Yuantong Temple and Kunming Bird and Flower Market, but also, when we expressed interest, spontaneously arranged a visit to a local tea shop where we enjoyed sampling several varieties. Our tour ended in Shanghai with Jason, who is quite personable and speaks excellent English. He provided a most interesting tour of the city’s many highlights and we were thrilled with the acrobatics show and visit to the nearby water town Zhujiajiao. Jason made sure we did everything we wanted and provided an excellent capstone to our two-week trip to China. The entire trip felt very personalized and we never felt like we were on anyone else’s schedule. We would definitely use China Highlights again!

Bella was great! She took a lot of time to explain the history, culture, and different types of food. She also helped me after hours by arranging Didi rides and booked a massage for me online to get a discount. 5 stars!

Our wonderful guide, Helen (in Chengdu), helped us discover the beauty of the imposing Leshan Giant Buddha statue and the nearby Buddhist temple, both places of great cultural and spiritual significance. In the same city, we also explored the ingenious and ancient water management system of the Minjiang River, which historically caused floods. Finally, Helen arranged a delightful evening for us at the famous Shufeng Yayun Sichuan Opera House. Thank you for everything, Helen (in Chengdu)!
